Mulder and Scully travel to Ice Cape, Alaska with a group of scientists to investigate the murders of some geophysicists working on a project called the Artic Ice Core Project, drilling deep into the ice that had been there frozen below the Earth billion of years ago. Once there, they found out that the geophysicists had apparently killed each other, and that what had caused these highly educated people to turn against one another had very possibly be passed on to them......
