Scully was diagnosed with cancer - the kind that is uncurable. They suspected the cancer had something to do with the computer chip that was implanted in the back of her neck she had taken out some time ago. While she was undergoing treatment after treatment in the hospital, Mulder searched for the people behind Scully's cancer, and found out that Scully's cancer might have something to do with her abduction a few years ago......
