Mulder bursts through the front door to find Scully and Skinner holding each other at gunpoint. Meanwhile, an assassin went to Scully's apartment, and assassinated the wrong victim - Melissa. Mulder and Scully went to the Lone Gunman, and discussed their findings. Frohike informed them of the incident at Scully's apartment. Scully wanted to go see he sister, but was stopped by Mulder. The agents went to see Klemper, a former Nazi war criminal, and was informed of the Operation Paper Clip, a U.S. government operation that provided safe haven for war criminals in exchange for their scientific knowledge. With Klemper's instructions, Mulder and Scully went to an abandoned site of the Strughold Mining Company, and discovered a tremendous amount of personal health files hidden in the mines, including files from Mulder's long-lost sister Samantha and Scully herself......
