A historical costume series about royalties and patriotic events

In the Chun state , the emperor Hin Kung have 3 sons . The eldest Prince Sun San ( John Lee Chung Ling ) is a not a very ambitious man whose interest only lies in traditional healing and to study medicine . The second son Prince Yee Ng ( Wong Chi Yeung ) unlike his elder brother have the eye on the throne and will stop at nothing to get what he wants . The youngest Prince Chung Yi ( Leon Lai Ming ) is a very good and filial son . The emperor also have a concubine Lai Ki ( Lau Kwai Fong ) who bears another son Hai . Yee Ng knows that his younger brother Chung Yi is more capable than himself thus hatches up a scheme to get rid of Chung Yi . His plan succeeds and Chung Yi is force to leave the Chun state .

On his way Chung Yi met the Princess of Qin state Wei Ying ( Jacqueline law Wai Kuen ) and fell in love with her . However they met a lot of obstacles in the process .

After the death of emperor Hin Kung his concubine Lai Ki who have plans of her own takes power and declares her son Hai ( who is still a young child ) to succeed his father . However most of the Chun state minister objects and thus led to a lot of internal conflict and disorder. Secretly please , Prince Yee Ng seize this opportunity and with the help of some evil minister manage to overthrow concubine Lai Ki and her son to become the emperor himself .

Unfortunately Yee Ng is still not satisfied and continues to cause trouble to his younger brother Chung Yi . Since he knows that Chung Yi loves Princess Wei Ying , he misuse his own power as the emperor and orders the princess to marry his son and to capture Chung Yi . Chung Yi after finding out about it is hurt and devastated . Chung Yi then flee to the state of Chek Dik and wins the trust of the emperor there and later marries his daughter the Princess Kwai Wei ( Louise Kwok Sau Wan ) .

Later Chung Yi found out that there is a lot of trouble and disorder under the reign of Emperor Yee Ng . Out of love for his homeland , and with careful planning he manage to seize Chun state and overthrow Yee Ng . The people in Chun state wants Chung Yi to become the new emperor of Chun state . Chung Yi agreeds and he took the title - Chun Man Kung .

Under the rign of Chun Man Kung he manages to unite all the warring states and bring peace and prosperity to the whole country .
