Although this series has a pretty good cast, I really didn't like the plot of the series.
Maggie Siu plays a reporter in this series. She meets Deric Wan when she goes to his apartment complex to do some interviews. Maggie takes his book about frogs and princesses and forgot to give it back to him. Deric has a weird personality...can't say he's stupid because in certain aspects, he's brilliant...but can't say he's normal either. Because Maggie took his book, Deric follows her around trying to get the book back. One day, Maggie's mom's lover calls her out and he tries to rape her (actually I think he was just gonna scare her) but Maggie got angry and hit him over the head with a fire place poker and he died and she accidentally started a fire also. Deric witnessed the accident. Maggie was charged with murder...Maggie's good friend, Amy Kwok, tries to help her and she finds an old friend from school, Cheung Kwok Keung, to be her lawyer. Amy is the gullible type but she's really sweet. Cheung Kwok Keung's real reason fro taking the case was to make a name for himself. Because Deric became the witness, Maggie was acquitted.
