A special thanks to Tin who is writing the summaries for Face to Face...Merci beaucoup

Just a few words about the series (you know how much I love making comments ^_^): After all the feedback I got, I decided to rent the series after all, and it's pretty interesting la. It's a nice change from all the cop series which were released recently. I personally find the topic of psychology to be very fascinating so the series wasn't disappointing. However, I was annoyed with all the flashbacks they had in the first 2 episodes. Aside from that, I thought a few scenes seemed a little awkward. However, the artists did a very good job. In lieu of doing a Healing Hands 2, I thought it'd be interesting if TVB made a psychology thriller which deals with different types of mental illnesses. The series could be based on the lives of several psychologists and psychiatrists.

Note: There are alot of flashbacks in this series, so bear w/me!

Episode 1

Scenery of the ocean shows from sunset till night. A yacht is shown in the middle of the ocean. Suddenly, in the yacht, a water boiler burst, which causes a stream of fire to go all around the yacht. A man quickly jumps off the yacht, in time before the big explosion occured.

Half a month later(after Ah Teen's coma of 9 months). Setting, in a hospital. In one of the rooms, Ah Teen (Ekin) tries hard to practice walking again. The Doctor explains to him that he has done enough exerise for the 2 days. Ah Teen doesn't want to rest but wanst to get better as soon as possible. He wants to know who he is. The doctor shows him his ID card (sun fun Ching) and tells him that he was brought into a coma from an accident. The only item left that was w/Ah teen, was his wallet. Ah Teen reads his own name and looks thru his wallet. The Doctor told him that, it was his friend who brought him into the hospital. Ah Teen looks thru a file and read the name, Fong Duck Shun (Cho Wing Hong). The Doctor told him that they tried contacting this person but he is not currently in HK. Ah Teen brought up the topic of police, asking how come no cops are here.

The scene shifts to Sai Kung Police Station. Duck Die(people calls him this instead of Duck Wai) (Jerry) was explaining a pychological definition of what iscalled "Been Tai". The team boo's him for always bringing up his pychologic sense. He is some kind of pychological nut to everyone. He then starts to give everyone his pychology definition of his head's behavior. Unluckly, in the process, his head came in and was behind him listening to everything he said. He was imitatiing his head's actions. He of course got yelled at and then was given Ah Teen's case to him.

Back to the hospital, Ah Teen insisted to leave. Then Duck Dei came in. Ah Teen saw that he was a police, so he continuously asked him all these questions. Duck Dei talked with an attitude toward Ah Teen. He was here to do alittle questioning for his file and then close the case. When Duck Dei started to ask him quesitons, he didn't believe that Ah Teen didn't know what
was going on. With Duck Dei's attitude, Ah Teen wasn't pleased with his actions. They got into alittle fight(not physically). The doctor brought Duck Dei outside and explained to him that this patient has been in coma for 9 months and only getting amnesia was very lucky already. His amnesia is only temporary.

Ah Teen sat on his bed, he was absorbing what he had heard. Then a flashback of a woman in a jeep, waving bye to him crossed his mind. He then immediately got up to leave. He went to search for Fong Duck Shun. But he was nowhere found. Ah Ming (Michael), was driving a jeep on the highway, talking to Ah Wing (Hilary) on the cell phone. They had problems for a shooting of a sunglasses advertisement. Their model backed out. They are still trying to find someone to model. While driving, Ah Ming accidently almost hit Ah Teen. With the car's honking noises, the license plate caught Ah Teen's attention.
Ah Ming thought he hit Ah Teen but Ah Teen only bend down to stare at the plate number. The same flash back went by his mind again. Ah Teen started to ask who this car belongs to. He told Ah Ming, describing a girl he saw with this car. Ah Teen thought he knew this woman. Ah Ming was in a hurry, so he didn't want to deal with Ah Teen. When a cop came over. Ah Ming
was forced to drive Ah Teen away, since he didn't want to get in trouble for almost hitting Ah Teen.

At the shooting, Wing is still trying to convince the boss to not take away their business. Ah Ming then came in and tried convinced the boss to take this fat guy(a worker for Ah Ming) to shoot for them. Ah Wing, noticed Ah Teen standing there. She had an idea to use Ah Teen. The boss saw Ah Teen and decided to use him. During the shooting, the flashes of the cameras cause Ah Teen to remember scenes from his past again. A woman(shown to be Heidi) dancing at a club had an eye for Ah Teen. They soon began to dance together. The shooting was susscessful and the boss was statisfied. He told Ah Ming to bring him back tomorrow to continue what they left off. Out of nowhere, The fat guy accidently bumped into someone and broke a bottle. Another flash back came. Heidi broke a glass bottle and was standing on the edge of a building top "Teen Pong". She admitted that she likes Ah Teen. They had a whole discussion. Later, Heidi thought that Ah Teen really jumpedoff the building. He fooled her and they kissed.

Now that Ah Ming is needy for Ah Teen to continue shooting for him so he lies to Ah Teen for knowing that woman that Ah Teen can only remember. He toldAh Teen to go to his company because he has alot of pictures of girls.

Duck Dei got in trouble for not finishing his job and that Ah Teen is missing. He got an address to a Tea garden(Cha Yuen), which is where Lam Ching works, who he knows she is a friend of Ah Teen. He goes there and asked for Lam Ching but she is on vacation.

At Ah Ming's company, they went thru alot of pictures but they are all not the girl in Ah Teen's mind. Ah Teen realizes that Ah Ming is lying to him. But Ah Ming convinced him to stay cause he offered to help him search for that girl. Ah Ming told him about his friend that is a police, who they will find for help. Ah Ming also offers him to stay with him at his house. Ah
Ming came up was a scam to lie to his parents that Ah Teen is Ah Wing's brother, in order to let Ah Teen stay. Everyone bought it. For a welcoming gift, his parents offered to bring Ah Teen around. Ah Teen then remembered a picture of a train at a lounge. Ah Fay--Ah Ming's younger brother--(Au Ching Yee) knew it right away, it was a bar called "One Way ticket".

At the lounge, Fay and Ming argue over the money their parents gave for the expenses for the bar. Ah Ming is an extremely cheap person. Ah Teen justlooked around to find that girl. While picking up some more drinks, a guy took Ah Teen's drinks. When that guy realized that it was Ah Teen, he got scared and ran away. Ah Teen followed him up to the dark alley. That guy vowed the he will never show up in his face again and ran away. Ah Teen went back to that bar. That bartendar recognizes Ah Teen, that he beat up Huck Chiy(that guy who ran when he saw Ah Teen) badly last year. Then the scenes
came back into him. Ah Teen asked him about that girl but he didn't know.

In Ah Ming's room, he was counting the amount of his expenses for the day. Ah Teen wanted to go back to ask at the police station. Ah Ming told him to go look for his friend instead since Ah Teen told him about that cop(Duck Dei) who he refers as "Fai Chai" (meaning useless).

In the morning, Ah Teen makes a phone call leaving a message in the hospital, that if Fong Duck Shun finds him, please inform him. He saw Ah Ming's dad(Mr. Mok), he explained everything to him, telling his the truth that he isn't Ah Wing's brother. Mr. Mok, then started to yell at Ah Ming when he came out. He was understanding of Ah Teen's situation but was mad that he didn't tell the truth. During this, Ah Teen remembered the same situation he went thru, like Ah Ming. Flashback, with Ah Teen's father yelling at him came.

Ah Teen, insisted to make Ah Ming find his cop friend. He wanted to know about his father. At the police station. on the way, Ah Ming again started to bad mouth the cop Ah Teen told him about. As they enter, Duck Dei sees Ah Teen. He began to yell at him for his sudden disappearance. Ah Ming was starring at Duck Die. Then Ah Ming called out his name and Duck Die finally remembered him. Ah Teen asked him if this guy is the friend he had in mind and Ah Ming asked him back that is this guy that "Fai Chai" he was talking about.

Ah Teen asked Duck Die about his father. He gave a picture of his father to him which made him remember the times of him and his father where together. And then Heidi came into his mind.(Basically the same flashbacks) Duck Die ask him about the accident in the ship. Flashback again, A woman(Lum Ching) was screaming, calling out for her dad. Ah Teen and his father were trying to save Lum Ching. Ah Teen was saving Ah Ching first then it was too late to save his father. They couldn't save Ah Ching's father also. The fire grew bigger. So, Ah Teen help Ah Ching to dive off the ship first. He jumped off after her and soon the explosion took place. Duck Die told him that Lam Ching was lucky that she was saved by Fong Duck Shun nearby. But unfortunately, Lam Ching's father and his father both died during this accident.

Ah Teen went to the cemetry to pay his father a visit. He blames himself for his father's death. When they were about to leave. He sees a woman like Heidi. He quickly follows her. The woman got into the bus but leaving behind a card. Ah Ming was calling him but he didn't care. He got into a taxi to follow the bus. He waited at the last stop of the bus. When the bus
arrived, that woman wasn't in there. He looked at the card(a worker card) and it said, Jane Lam.

Fennie (Ah Ching) did reappear but she wanted to take the medication that she was on...Ekin threw away her medicine and told her that it wasn't helping her--what she needed was to face her past, not dependence on drugs...

Fennie's family and Hong were trying to look for her.

Ekin took Fennie to Lamma Island (Lam Ah Do) and tried to talk to her about the past. He called Hong and told him that Fennie was with him...when Hong threw a fit, Ekin just hung up on him and refused to tell where Fennie was. Ekin took Fennie to the beach and tried to get her to talk about her twin sister. At the same time, Margaret's mom was telling Margaret about Fennie's twin sister. Fennie's mom left Hong Kong after the death of Fennie's twin "Ah Ling/Heidi". Fennie felt that her parents didn't love her as much as they loved her sister "Ah Ling". In addition, they blamed her for "Ah Ling's" death--her mom left and her dad locked her in her room--that was when Fennie's multiple personality started.

Ekin called the psychologist that night. She told him to try and hypnotise Fennie so that she would reveal more about her childhood. Ekin did as he was told and the next day, he hypnotised her.

***flashbacks***

Fennie's mom revealed that 2 years ago, she had returned to Hong Kong to formally divorce Fennie's dad. They were talking about how they both blamed Fennie for her sister's death and both didn't want custody of her back then. Suddenly, they heard a door slam...Fennie's mom believed that Fennie had overheard their conversation and left the house.

***end flashbacks***

During hypnosis, Fennie revealed a lot about her past: She revealed how she did like Ekin and how she overheard her parent's conversation. The night she overheard the conversation was the same night that Ekin asked her out for her birthday...Ekin had never showed up...both of these events devastated her and from that night on, Fennie's multiple personality worsened to the point where "Heidi" came out frequently......After the shipwreck, Fennie felt relieved. She no longer had to make her dad happy and she no longer felt the pressure from seeing Ekin...She decided to date Hong because he was really nice to her. He made her feel at peace. After Fennie re-surfaced from hypnosis, she saw her mom there. Fennie and her mom made up. Her mom apologized for treating her that way in the past...Later that day, Fennie's mom went to talk to Hong to tell him that Fennie was feeling better.

Ekin and Fennie were returning to HK the next day. Fennie kissed Ekin and told him that she didn't want her vacation to be over. Ekin took Fennie back to Hong's house. Hong tried to act nice but in reality, he was very angry.

Margaret feels like Fennie is taking up too much of their mom's time. Margaret told her mom that she didn't like living in HK. Margaret returned to her room and talked to Fennie...Fennie's (Ah Ching) voice seemed to change into "Heidi/Ah Ling's" voice during the conversation.

Fennie decided to see the psychologist "Dr. Ho" that Ekin recommended.

Margaret threatened to go back to Los Angeles. Margaret and her mom had a huge fight and her mom locked her in her room. Meanwhile, Fennie and her mom were sitting in the living room talking. Fennie tried to console her mom because she was still feeling bad about the fight with Margaret. In addition, the two had a nice talk and her mom apologized to her for everything in the past. While they were talking, Margaret snuck out and went to Ekin's house. Ekin called Margaret's mom and the two made up after her mom agreed to stop being so protective.

Mom and Fennie went to her dad and twin sister's graves to pay respects to them and tell them that what's past is past.

Ekin went back to work and found out that Hilary was hired as a temporary receptionist.

Hong was doing some illegal (?) business with a Taiwan client. Hong and Fennie were getting married soon.

Michael got a job at Hong's company to be near Hilary...he decided to start anew so that he could go after Hilary again.

Episodes 15-16

Wedding day: while Hong was putting the wedding ring on Fennie, she heard "Heidi's" voice inside her head telling her "this man can not be trusted".

As the new marketing associate, Michael had to write a proposal and present it to the group. He was really scared so Hilary decided to make him angry so that he'd put more effort into the project...Michael was praised for his proposal after the presentation.

Ekin took Jerry and Michael mountain-climbing to encourage Michael to never give up until he reached his destination- they told Michael to climb the mountain for Hilary.

Hong and Fennie were back from their honeymoon. Fennie took her mom and sister shopping and they went ice-skating and took sticker pictures. Ekin went over to Margaret's house for dinner because Fennie and Hong were back. He bought Margaret a new video game. Fennie seemed uncomfortable around Ekin.

Hilary was promoted as Michael's assistant which made Michael really happy because he got to see her more often.

Ekin and Jerry e-mailed Michael's mountain-climbing tape to Hilary. She was kind of touched when she saw how Michael continued climbing even though he was really scared. She decided to call Michael to tell him that she'd give him another chance. Ekin was still surfing the net and noticed that someone had posted a clip of him and Hong mountain-climbing...this tape was from a while ago--when they were racing to the top to see who could be with Fennie. During the clip, Ekin noticed that Hong fell deliberately so that Ekin would pity him and not fight with him over Fennie. This really angered Ekin.

Jerry and Au Ching Yee were back from their vacation to Taiwan. They bought Ekin a new computer game---it was exactly the same as the game that Ekin was in the process of creating...he showed it to Jerry.

After some investigating, Jerry found out that Hong had sold the game to a client in Taiwan. Ekin had designed the game before the boating accident and his amnesia. He couldn't remember if he had given Hong permission to sell his game. Ekin felt that he would never have sold the game because the game was a love game and he had used personal info about him and Fennie in it. Ekin was beginning to feel that there was more to Hong than meets the eye.

Ekin confronted Hong but he said that Ekin told him to sell the game before the accident.

Ekin was asking Margaret to go play video games together so that he could find out more about Fennie's situation--if she was happy in her marriage, how she was doing, etc.

Fennie still missed Ekin a lot. She was going to throw away the things that he gave her but then she decided against it. She asked her psychologist what to do and she told Fennie that perhaps burying the past would be better. Therefore, Fennie took the things and buried them. Hong saw her burying something..that night, he went to dig up the things and saw that it was pictures of her and Ekin and things that he had given her.

Fennie's psychologist, Dr. Ho, was leaving Hong Kong so she called Hong and told him to pick up a letter for Fennie. This was a letter describing Fennie's illness for another psychologist that Dr Ho was recommending. Instead of giving the letter to his wife, Hong burned it instead.

Ekin received a call from his father's lawyer telling him that there were some issues that still needed his attention. The lawyer was Ekin's dad's employee's son. He knew Ekin but Ekin couldn't remember him. Ekin's dad was supposedly pretty rich, but for some reason, they owed a lot of money and all the money that Ekin's dad left went to paying the debts. As Ekin was leaving, he ran into Fennie's mom who was also there to settle some issues about her ex-husband's will. In Fennie's dad's will, he explicitly stated that if Fennie married Hong, then all the money would be left for Fennie's mom instead of Fennie. Fennie's mom was very confused as to why her ex-husband would make such an unusual specification. When she got home, she was still thinking...she called Ekin and asked him if Fennie's dad and Hong had done any business together before.

Ekin decided to go and visit his dad's employee (this is also the lawyer's dad) who was retired and living in China. The employee told Ekin more about his family. Ekin's mom came from a very rich family but his dad was poor. She died after getting sick. Hong was Ekin's dad's friend's son. The employee didn't seem to like Hong. He told Ekin that Hong's name was written on Ekin's dad's bank account. Also, Ekin's dad and Fennie's dad had opened a joint computer company.

Episodes 17-18

Michael and Hong were out having a drink. Michael revealed that Ekin and Jerry were up in China visiting Ekin's dad's employee. Hong had an unusual expression on his face. Hong gave Michael a raise and promoted him...so that he could earn Michael's trust and use him later on.

Ekin and Jerry went to visit his dad's employee ("Sing Bak") again...the old man mentioned how Hong was very ambitious and cold-hearted. He referred to an incident during Hong's childhood where Hong put glass into a bun and gave it to "Sing Bak's" son to eat. After hearing these stories, Ekin began to doubt how much he really knew about Hong.

Fennie made some veggie buns for her mom and took it over to her house. Fennie's mom, Hong and Fennie were together in the living room. Fennie's mom was still thinking about the will that her ex-husband (Fennie's dad) left.

The next day, Fennie's mom was talking to Margaret and she suddenly remembered that she had called Fennie's dad the day of the yacht blew up. She recalled hearing another voice on the yacht...she immediatly called Ekin and left a message on his answering machine since Ekin was still in China. Unfortunately, Hong heard the message and deleted it. He went to find Fennie's mom. She asked Hong if he had ever done business with Fennie's dad because she recalls hearing him argue with Fennie's dad when she came back to HK a few years ago. Hong got very suspicious and angrily asked Fennie's mom what she knew...she finally realized that he was the one that was on the yacht before the explosion. Hong tried to strangle her to death and despite her struggles, she wasn't able to resist him. He finally stabbed her with the knife on the coffee table. He covered up so that it appeared to be a robbery...what he didn't realize was the during the murder, he accidentally dropped the keys to his safe in a plant.

Fennie's mom was rushed to the hospital. Margaret rushed from school to see her. She was in critical condition. That night, Fennie, Hong and a cop stayed while everyone else left. Hong tried to kill his mother-in-law once again but was disrupted by Fennie who started screaming in her sleep.

Ekin returned from China the next day and went to the office. He listened to his answering machine and found that a message from Fennie's mom had been deliberately erased but not erased all the way. Ekin found out about Fennie's mom and went to the hospital. Fennie's mom awoke and tried to tell Ekin who harmed her but Hong and Fennie rushed back in the room and Hong started shaking her so that she couldn't talk...she died before she could say anything.

Fennie and Margaret were very sad about their mom passing away. Fennie stayed with her sister for a few days.

Ekin told Jerry that he suspected Hong deleted his message.

Ekin went to find Margaret and Fennie to console them. He asked Margaret if her mom had told her anything before her death but she didn't recall. Hong called and was surprised when Ekin picked up the line. After Margaret fell asleep, Ekin talked to Fennie and told her not to keep her feelings bottled up inside of her. Fennie started crying and Hong saw Fennie leaning on Fennie...he was upset that Fennie trusted Ekin and told him things that she wouldn't tell him.

Margaret decided to go back to the US to live with her dad. On the day of her flight, Fennie found Hong's keys in the flower pot and thought the keys were Margaret's because she said she was missing her keys to her suitcase. The keychain was exactly like Margaret's so she took the keys. She got a stomachache so Fennie and Hong went to buy medicine for her. She told Ekin that her mom recalled hearing another male voice on the yacht before the explosion.

At home, Hong was mad and he yelled at Fennie.

Jerry told Ekin that the police reports indicated that Fennie's dad was injured before the explosion took place.

Some clients at Hong's company supported Ekin's idea's instead of his. When Hong got home, he took out his frustrations on Fennie. He yelled at her because he thought that she was sneaking around his back and meeting with Ekin...he brought her to dig up the box that she buried and accused him of not being able to forget Ekin...he slapped her...then he apologized to her.

Ekin wanted Jerry to hypnotize him so that he could remember more about the past in terms of how his dad owed so much money...he suspected that someone tricked his dad out of his money. Ekin was only able to see a pair of feet as he got on the yacht.

JErry and Ekin went back to China to find "Sing Bak". Ekin wanted to know why the accounting records were so "messy"..."Sing Bak" revealed that the company was doing extremely well when he retired and there was no way the company could lose that much money in that little time.

Fennie got a call from the psychologist that "Dr Ho" recommended...Fennie realized that Hong never gave her the letter that "Dr. Ho" wanted to give her.

Ekin called in sick and asked for the day off. Unfortunately, Michael told Hong that JErry took Ekin to a psychologist to be hypnotized. Hong rushed to the psychologist's office, fearing that he would remember something important. He crashes in and interrupts the session...Ekin bolts awake and thinks that he killed Fennie's dad, not Hong...

Michael's family is afraid that Ekin really is a murderer. Jerry tells Ekin that he believes he didn't kill Fennie's dad.

Ekin dreams that Fennie's dad sent people to beat him up and warn him away from his daughter. He also dreamed that Fennie's dad cheated his dad out of his money so Ekin killed him during a struggle on the yacht. Ekin believes that what he dreamed was reality so he calls Fennie to apologize to her.

Ekin wanted to turn himself in for murder but Hong stopped him...(I guess Hong didn't want the cops to dig too far...)

Ekin went drinking...Fennie tried to look for him. He told her that he killed her dad...she hit him and said she never wanted to see him again. Hong was following her and saw her slap him...he was happy about that.

Hong wants to sell part of his company so he'll have money to immigrate to Australia.

Jerry with to find Ekin with new evidence about the case...he found some old accounting records and found out that Fennie's dad was one of the suppliers to Ekin's dad's company. Jerry also got a copy of Fennie's dad's will...Ekin decided to go for hypnosis again.

Episodes 19-20

From hypnosis, Ekin recalls that he didn't kill Fennie's dad. He and his dad walked onto the yacht and saw Fennie's dad already injured. Ekin merely picked up the knife to look at it and then the fire started on the yacht.

Ekin tries to call Fennie and explain to her but she won't listen to his calls. He went to find her but she avoids him...

Fennie finds out that she's pregnant. Hong is thrilled.

Hong is hiding the fact that he's trying to sell the company...however, Michael suspects something is up...

Ekin and Hong met at the company at night when no one was around. Ekin lied to Hong and told him that he now remembers exactly what happened on the day of the explosion...he also said that Fennie's dad told him that Hong injured him. Hong tries to deny this but Ekin claims that he has evidence. Finally, Hong gives in and admits that he stabbed Fennie's dad that day out of frustration because Fennie's dad sold EKin's dad the wrong brand of computers and made a lot of money but didn't share that money with him...Hong claims that he only wanted the right computers or the money back. Hong used Fennie's health as an excuse to beg Ekin not to call the cops...Ekin complied.

Hong was trying to get out of HK as soon as possible...Ekin wuit his job at Hong's company.

Margaret called Ekin and tried to cheer him up. She asked him to visit her in LA and he decided to go.

Jerry told Ekin that he believed that Hong was involved with Fennie's mom's death...

Hong tried to leave HK with Fennie. However, while they were leaving for the airport, Fennie got cramps and her stomach was hurting so Hong had to take her to the hospital. THe doctors said that she shouldn't move around too much because the baby wasn't very stable...

Jerry went to the hospital to see Fennie, hoping to help EKin clear his name. However, Fennie didn't believe him.

Jerry tried to recruit Michael to help him investigate Fennie's mom's murder. He asked Michael to look in Hong's planner to see what he was doing the day the murder took place. Michael brushed him off and told Jerry that he had too much time on his hands. Michael went and told Hong about Jerry's suspicions.

Fennie saw her mom's bracelet in Hong's trunk. She decided to go and look at night after she sent Hong out to buy her a snack...she realized that it wasn't her mom's bracelet....in reality though, Hong had seen the bracelet too and he replaced it with a fake so that Fennie wouldn't suspect him.

In the US, Ekin was at Margaret's house. She tried to open one of her suitcases to show Ekin something but realized that she had the "wrong key". Margaret said it was the key Fennie found in the flower pot before she left. Margaret recalls that Hong has a similar keychain...Ekin is starting to suspect Hong for the murder too now...

Meanwhile in HK, Michael is beginning to suspect Hong too because he was asking Michael too many questions about the investigation. Ekin called Jerry and told him that he had Hong's key to his safe at the office. Jerry devised a plan to capture Hong. He told Michael to go and ask Hong for some important documents at work which were in the safe. Michael did as he was told and Hong realized that he had the wrong key so he had to go back to Fennie's mom's house to look for his keys.

Jerry and Michael had set up a video camcorder in the house already to tape Hong...Hong came into the house and starting role-playing exactly how he killed Fennie's mom so that he could figure out where he lost his keys. Unfortunately, during the end of his role-playing, he saw the camcorder and pretended to leave. Jerry and Michael went into the house to get the video but Hong came back and tried to kill them. He beat them with a huge stick and when they both fainted, he turned the gas on and tied them up. He was planning on calling them and blowing the house up. Luckily, Jerry and Michael awoke and hopped to the phone and knocked it over before the call came through. Hong saw police arriving so he left in a hurry.

Everyone found out about Hong's real personality and everything he did. Jerry and Michael ended up in the hospital. Ekin went to see them.

Hong called Fennie and told her he was going to take her to Taiwan. He dragged her to a dusty motel and Fennie was confused because she still didn't know what was going on.

Hong went to borrow money from his sister and he lied to her. Being his sister, of course she was on his side.

Fennie saw Hong's news on tv just as Hong came back to the motel. She wanted to leave and when she mentioned EKin's name, he slapped her and she fainted. He took her to a house that his sister was watching for someone. Hong tied her up. While he went to buy food, Fennie loosened the rope tying her and tried to call but Hong cut the phone line and when she tried to leave, she realized he locked the door. Therefore, she climbed out the window and called EKin at a phone booth. However, before she finished talking Hong caught her...

EKin went to find Hong's sister...he found out from her son that she was watching someone's house in "Sai Kung". Ekin and the cops went searching the area.

Hong gave Fennie some sleeping pills and then stole a car and out her inside. He drove away with her just as Ekin arrived. Ekin stole a motorcycle and chased after them...Hong drove his car down a hill but he and Fennie were okay. Hong and Ekin started struggling. Hong hit Ekin with a stick...finally, Fennie grabbed a stick and knocked Hong out before she fainted. Ekin took her to the hospital and before she went into the emergency room, he told her he'd be there for her no matter what and kissed her forehead...She ended up miscarrying.

WHen the cops got to the car and tried to find Hong, they realized that he was missing.

Hong dressed up as a doctor and went to find Fennie. HE dragged her to the roof of the hospital and asked her if she loved him. She told him that she wouldn't love someone who murdered her parents and that she's never love him again. Ekin found them on the roof so Hong tried to jump off the roof and commit suicide and drag Fennie with him...kindda like "If I can't have her, no one can..." Ekin tried to save Fennie and he did...Hong fell off the roof and died. The last scene shows Ekin with his arms around Fennie as they watch Hong's body being carried away...
