Episodes 1-3:

The series begins when Bobby, Kong Wah and Roger are very old, like 60-65 years
old...

Bobby has been Kong Wah's cooker for 40 years... that day, he brings food to
Kong Wah (who is the king), when Kong Wah sees the food, he asks Bobby if he has
lost his mind, all those food are hard to eat and Bobby tells Kong Wah that he
has a gift for him... a dental plate. :)

That night, there was like an event, I've called it "Food Event". Kong Wah asks
Bobby to cook a plate in front of ministers, but b/c Bobby is kinda old, while
cooking, he stumbles... and a piece of fish falls into Kong Wah's tea. Then,
Bobby looks at one minister, Roger, and Roger has to build up a story, but Kong
Wah doesn't punish Bobby... When Bobby comes back to his seat, beside Roger, he
begins to think about the "Food Event", cos long ago, Kong Wah had already
organized a "Food Event" and that had cos him lots of problems...

Bobby's family had a restaurant, and since Bobby is the oldest son of his
family(and his mother is the first wife) , he is the owner of the restaurant...
His restaurant is really renowned and popular that owners of other restaurants
try to copy food of Bobby's restaurant, but they can't. Every year, there are
new dishes that are invented,all looks so good and are delicious.

Bobby's father is dead... So the leader of the family is Bobby's mother, cos
she's first wife, and the second wife is jealous. 2nd wife has 2 sons (i'll call
2nd son and 3rd son). When 2nd wife is with her sons, she says bad things about
Bobby and his mother, but of course in front of 1st wife, she compliments
Bobby...

Anyway, Bobby's family were all there talking, then the nurse of Bobby and his
brother comes in and tells Bobby that she didn't see her son, Roger, for a while
and is worried. Bobby immediatly go to find Roger.

Roger is Bobby's best friend, and cos they have grown up together, Bobby treats
him as a brother. Roger is a literature guy, his dream is to go to become a
letter minister* (viet: trang nguyen), sorry don't know how you call it, but
usually, guys who studies usually wants to become letter minister, they have to
go to the capital (city where's the king leaves) to participate to the contest
(kinda litterature exam) the guy who win become letter minister and some other
are choose to also be minister. Contest is at every 3-4 years... Since he is
poor and he needs money to go to the capital, he decides to sells his paintings.
As for the contest, Roger has tried 2 times to attend to it, but each time,
something happened: 1st time, his dad died, 2nd time, he got sick.

Anyway, Bobby was able to find Roger and take him home... on their way, there
was an announcement: King has decided to organize a "Food Event" just like his
grandfather, Kang Y.

Bobby has waited a long time for this "Food Event", cos he want to participate
to it, to realize his and his father dream.... For this event, he wants to
submit a dish that his father has invented: the "tofu dish" (i'll call it like
that). Roger has a lot of info on it and gave it to Bobby. With Roger's info.
and Bobby's memory of the "tofu dish", 3 cooks of Bobby's restaurant (which
include 2nd son) try to cook "tofu dish", but are unable... so Bobby decides to
organize a contest to find a really good cook that could cook that "tofu dish".

At the contest, lots of cooks participate, to identify themselves they all have
a different numbers... Bobby has tasted lots of dish, but no one was good...
then suddenly, his mother and 2nd wife come in... they didn't know that Bobby
wanted to participate to the "Food Event". 1st wife doesn't want Bobby to
participate to it, she tells that "Food Event" has caused enough problems for
them already, that he is not going to participate and then, she overturns all
the dishes that are on the table, but somehow, Bobby got some tofu on his face
and he taste it, after that he said "So good" and asks what number it was...
Then 3rd son tells him that it was the dish # 38, cos he saw it... Then Bobby
ran off yelling # 38, # 38... Then a cook tell him that # 38 is in front and
Bobby chases after, but couldn't stop, so bump into that person and put his arms
around her waist... When the person turns around, Bobby got a slap, cos # 38
is... a woman! She is Marianne.

Bobby begs her to work for him and he brings her back home... At home, he
presents her to the family, and 1st wife isn't happy telling that a girl can be
a good cook as her husband, that she doesn't want her to work on the "tofu
dish", etc... Soon, Marianne and 1st wife argue, cos Marianne asks her who was
the owner of the restaurant and if it was Bobby, why couldn't he take his owns
decisions, etc.... To angry, 1st and 2nd wifes go out the room, out, 1st wife
begins to laugh and she says: "Good, this girl looks exactly like me when i was
her age" ;)

For "Food Event", each region is allowed to submit a dish... 4 cooks have
presented their dish to the minister of Bobby's region, all those dishes are
made with expensive food... Then Bobby arrives with the "tofu dish", which looks
really normal, the others all laugh at him...

Anyway, at home, Bobby and Marianne are studying about how to cook the "tofu
dish", cos however, Marianne's "tofu dish" isn't the same as Bobby's father...
Marianne has been cooking all the morning and Bobby has rejected all the dish
for this and this reason... Marianne, who is angry, tells him that if he doesn't
like it, why don't he cook it himself... Bobby tells her that he is afraid of
fire, cos 20 years ago, when his father was cooking the "tofu dish" and that
Bobby has tasted it and told that it was the best thing he ever eat, well a fire
accident has occured and Bobby's father has died, Bobby couldn't rescue his
father, the only thing he could do he asks for help and see his father die... So
that's why Bobby can't cook... Suddenly, Bobby remembers that their was eggs'
shell in the kitchen, but "tofu dish" didn't taste eggs... so he sat there
thinking all the night and finally fall asleep...

When Bobby wakes up the next morning, Marianne isn't there anymore... and his
money has disappeared, so he concluded that Marianne has stole his money... He
calls somes of the man in the family and go to search for Marianne... They all
go in separate way, and Bobby ran into Marianne... she was bringing back tofu
and dropped it all... Bobby grabs her hand and asks her why did she steal him
and etc... Marianne was so angry, she tells him that she thought that maybe the
tofu of "tofu dish" was made of eggs, so she didn't sleep at all yesterday night
and went really early to buy tofu and now, she is call a robber... she gave back
his money telling him how much there was and left... Bobby thinks about it
and after taste the tofu and turns out it's the same taste then 20 years ago...
he knows that he has mistaken Marianne... he heard her screaming, turns out that
Bobby's brothers and men has stopped her... Bobby came and tells them it's just
a misunderstanding... but Marianne runs of...

Bobby tries to apologize, but Marianne doesn't want to listen.. Then Roger shows
up... Bobby presents them to each other. Bobby asks Roger to talk to Marianne.
Roger tells her that after cooking the "tofu dish" she can get really known, but
Marianne answer that the only thing she wish is to meet a good guy and marry him
and live a happy life, she will be happy. Roger tells her that he has a good
candidate: Bobby! ;) Anyway, Marianne accepts to come back...

Roger wants to help Bobby so he do a little research... and find some info...
turns out that 20 years ago, the year of "Food Event", there was an epidemy in
the region and the minister has killed all the animals of the region. So that's
mean that's is impossible that there's meat in "tofu dish". Bobby tries to
figure out what his father has used and his conclusion is "meat that is not
meat", Marianne tells he is crazy.

While searching the meaning of " meat that is not meat", an incident happen: a
monk is attacked by a dog, cos the dog wants the monk's food... Bobby arrives
and stops them... the owner of the dog tells that if there wasn't meat in the
monk food, the dog wouldn't attacked... when Bobby smells it, there is the smell
of meat, so they go to the restaurant where the monk got the food, a vegetarian
restaurant, and asks the owner if they could go see in the kitchens... The dog
smell and stop in front of a cupboard, but there's no meat in it, only pieces of
cloth. That night, Bobby wants to find how come there's the smell of meat but
there's no meat in that vegetarian restaurant, so he got into the kitchens to
investigate, but the owner of the restaurant knew about it and get his men to
hit Bobby, hopefully, Marianne was there...

Back home, at night, Marianne has prepared some soup for Bobby and ask him to
guess what kind of soup it was, he answered "meat soup", but when he looks into
the bowl there was no meat in it, only a piece of cloth. So Bobby has figured it
out, the piece of cloth has impregnated all the juice of the meat, so when you
cook food and use the cloth, there's the taste of meat in it... Next day, Bobby
go to the vegetarian restaurant and tells to everyone that they're eating meat
and force the owner to close his restaurant.

After this, Marianne and Bobby have finally been able to cook the "tofu dish".

Roger receives a letter of a girl and is so happy. He goes to the port and
*flashback*

Angie and her family was leaving and it was time to say goodbye. Roger is
telling her that in 3 years, he will become a letter minister and will find her
and marry her. Angie tells him that she will wait for him.

*end of flashback*

So in a way, Angie is his fiancée... Roger starts to worry about money, so he
decides to sell his paints to earn money. He asks to a guy to sell his paints,
but the guy isn't interested, but then a customer comes into the store and shows
interest into Roger's paint. So the guy accepted to sell the painting, gives Roger
some money and after return to the customer... the guy lie, telling that Roger
is now death, so the paint is really unique and sell it at a really high price.
The customer who bought the painting was walking in the street and was not looking
where he was going, Roger seeing that the customer has bought his painting, is
following him. On the way, the paint get dirty, cos tofu has been dropped on it
and the customer seems very unhappy, Roger tells him that he will repare it, but
didn't tell that he was Roger. He says to the customer that he will give back
the painting in 2 days. After that customer went to Bobby's restaurant to eat and
meet Bobby.

Remember the 4 cooks that want to participate to the "Food Event", well they met
a rival. The rival wants to do a competition to see who is a better cook, he
will compete against all 4 cooks, meaning that he will cook the same dish as
them, so he has to cook 4 dishes. That person is really a good cook, he finish
cooking the 4 dishes at the same time as the 4 cooks and it looks exactly the
same, even the cooks couldn't distinguish which dish is theirs, he explains that
he has only to taste the dish once and he can cook it exactly like it... so of
course the guy wins and want to confront Bobby, his name is Cheung Khanh Ka
(sorry, it's not good spelling at all).

At Bobby's house, Marianne has finally successfully cook the "tofu dish" and the
family is eating it... everyone is so happy cos it's really the best food they
ever eat. While eating, no one except Marianne, has paid attention to the waiter
who has take just a little of the "tofu dish" somewhere.

2 days has passed and Roger brings a new painting to the customer, explaining to him
that he couldn't repiar the other painting so he painted a new one. The customer is so
surprised cos the painting looks exactly like the old. Then, Roger tells him that he
is Roger and the guy who sells the painting had lied to get a higher price... and
proposed to the customer to paint for him. The customer is really happy and
asks Roger to come to his home and asks him if he could paint the picture of his
daughter's lover, his daughter's love turns out to be... Bobby! and of course Roger accepted.

The 4 cooks tells the minister that they won't participate in the "Food Event"
anymore. Bobby arrives when the 4 cooks leave. So the only rival left for Bobby
is Cheung Khanh Ka, but Cheung Khanh Ka is also submitting the "tofu dish" to
the "Food Event", Bobby right away accuse Cheung Khanh Ka of stealing their
dish, but there's no proof... On his way home, Bobby and 3rd son are wondering
how come Cheung Khanh Ka's "tofu dish" is exactly like theirs... 3rd son assumes
that is Marianne fault so run to the house, but Bobby sees one of his waiter(the
one who has take some "tofu dish") sneaking to the new restaurant that will open
soon (just in front of Bobby's restaurant ) so follow him. Cheung Khanh Ka is
the new owner of the restaurant and turns out that the waiter and the vegetarian
restaurant owner has helped Cheung Khanh Ka to cook the "tofu dish". Bobby discovered this and left to go home...

At home, Marianne has been accused and all the family is against her... she says
it's the waiter, but they don't believe her... 1st wife has even hit her... 2nd
wife thought that Marianne was going to kill her, etc... finally, Marianne runs
to the kitchen when Bobby arrives, he explains everything to the family, another
misunderstanding... Bobby has to go to apologize and tells her that the family
wants to apologize... so in the living room, 1st wife tells her that if Marianne
wants, she can become her daughter and could even become Bobby's big sister, but
Marianne doesn't say anything.. so 1st wife tells her that she has hit her, so
if Marianne wants to hit her back she won't run away... Seeing that, Bobby tells
Marianne to hit him instead of his mom and it was she did... ;) Bobby has a big
red bump on the forehead. Marianne is now officially a member's of Bobby's
family... during supper, they receive an invitation: a new restaurant is
going to open soon (Cheung Khanh Ka restaurant) inviting them to opening.

Roger has finished his painting for the customer...

On the opening day, Bobby's restaurant is quite quiet, seeing that, Bobby
disguises himself and go to Cheung Khanh Ka restaurant... when he eat the food,
it's turns out it tasted the same as the food in Bobby's restaurant + the
waiters are actually all cute waitresses and lower prices... But Bobby's
identity is discovered by Cheung Khanh Ka and after, he presents to the
customers, the real owner of the restaurant, it turns out to be the customer
that have bought Roger's paint... The customer has even hang up Roger's painting
and present it to the customers, telling that this girl has passed away of lepra
and she was a really close friend of Bobby... so all this was a trap and Roger
has fallen into it. Everyone believes "the customer" says, so they thought that
Bobby was having the lepra too, so they try to avoid him and didn't go to
Bobby's restaurant anymore... Bobby's only hope to make people believe him is to
find the girl of the painting... Roger feel so guilty that that night, when he was
drunk, he decided to steal the paint, but he got caught.

As for the "Food Event", Bobby has decided to change the dish that he will
submit...

At here, audience learns something pretty interesting....: The customer was
waiting for someone and turns out that the person he was waiting for is
Marianne, and when Marianne sees the customer, she calls dad. So Cheung Khanh Ka
is her senior brother, an orphan that Marianne's father has raised. Marianne is
following her father plans, cos he wants revenge on Bobby's family....

Next day, Bobby receives a letter and goes right away to the other restaurant, in
the garden, Roger is tied in the water... Marianne's father tells Bobby that if
he wants Roger to be free, well he has to kneel and says sorry, having no
choice, Bobby kneels... Marianne's father then throw the key into the water.
Bobby couldn't find it, but then a lady, Nadia, tells him where it was, cos she
saw it...

Episodes 4-6:

At the restaurant, Bobby and his cooks are trying all new food combinaisons to invent or improve
a new dish, cos he decided to not present his "tofu dish" to the "Food Event" anymore...
Marianne, her father and her senior brother are wondering what Bobby's doing, cos all his
combinaisons are unsuccesful... anyway, Marianne feels better now that Bobby has changed for
another dish....

Everyone thinks that Bobby has leprosy, so the neighbourhood representative has to come to his
house to spread powder inside and outside the house.That angers so much 1st wife, that she goes
to find Marianne's father... Surprisely, the 2 of them know each other, and Marianne's father
first word is; "You've already broke my arm, now you want to kill me?" They stay up all the
night trying to talk about the past, but everytime 1st wife wanna explain something, Marinne's
father doesn't want to listen... When Bobby knew that his mother went to search for their rival,
he goes to search for them. When he finds them, he right away tells the guy to leave his mother
alone and starts insulting him, so Marianne's father leaves and 1st wife seems sad.

The neighbourhood representative comes again to spread powder, but this time it's in the
restaurant. But hopefully, 3rd son arrives with the girl that was supposed to be death, the girl
who tricks Roger in the painting with Marianne's father... Bobby takes her to Marianne's father
restaurant, and all the truth is known: Bobby doesn't have the leprosy, she doesn't have it,
Marianne's father paid her to trick Roger... Bobby wanted to bring this story to the
authorities, but his mother appears and tells him to go back home, to not cause problems. Now,
everyone treats Bobby very well to get forgiven...

Next day, Bobby sees Nadia in the street, she is with a man... actually, she is searching for a
man named Tao, a great author, and the guy says that he has a Tao original book, so she buys the
book, but when the guy leaves, she discovers that it's a false book. Bobby who has heard and
seen everything starts to run after the guy to get back the money and ends up falling in the
water ;) but he has the money!

Then audience learns that Nadia is a Han general daughter, and the region minister respects her
a lot, asking her to come to his place to stay during her trip.

1st wife and Marianne go somewhere... at first, Marianne thought they were going to a temple,
she has a real big heavy bag on her back, but turns out they are going to an orphanage and the
bage on her back contains toys for little orphans. 1st wife has given the money to build this
orphanage and takes care of the kids, so everyone likes her. Then in the orphanage, Marianne
hears 1st wife talking to her death husband, telling that she has met Marianne's father, he is
healthy, so she feels better, less guilty. On their way back, Marianne foot got injuried and 1st
wife tells her that she treats her as a daughter.

Is the day of the contest for choosing the dish that will be present to the "Food Event". That
morning, Bobby asked Marianne to cook a "tofu dish". At the contest, Marianne's father side
didn't cook the "tofu dish" cos Bobby's side didn't cook it either. But turns out that Bobby has
fooled everyone, except Roger, and the dish he presents is the "tofu dish" that Marianne has
cook that morning. The jury can't decide of the winner, but Nadia, who is also a judge, takes
Bobby's side with some good arguments, so Bobby wins.

After they loose, Marianne's father closed the restaurant for a while. When he knew that, Bobby
went to ask her mother about her and Marianne's father, what is their relationship... 1st wife
finally tells him the story...

***flashbacks***

Bobby and Marianne's fathers are best friends, consider themselves as brothers. Both of them
like cooking and want to improve themselves, so they go to 5 Tastes Master and asked him for the
books or to be disciples. 5 Tastes Master tells them if they can make him laugh, he'll give the
5 books... Finally, a night, they made him laugh so he gave them the 5 books on 5 different
tastes: sweet, hot, sour, etc... but he was laughing and eating at the same time, so he
suffocated, the 2 friends tried to save him, but he died. A little boy passed by,so he thought
the 2 friends were killing 5 Taste Master. So the 2 friends have to run away, cos they got the
authorities on their back. Their only way to get away save, it was to sacrifice one of them.
Bobby's father proposes himself, cos he had no family, while Marianne's father has a fiancée,
Bobby's mother. So Bobby's father ran away, hoping to be caught, but he stumbles, falls down and
collapses... While that time, Marianne's father got caught and thought his friend has betrayed
him and got to jail. The day he got out of jail, it was Bobby 1 month's b-day and the opening
day of the restaurant. Marianne's father was so angry at Bobby's father happiness, so he wanted
hit him, but Bobby's mother kicked him and while he was falling, he broke his arm on a rock.
Then, Bobby's parents realized it was their best friend, but Marianne's father didn't want to
listen to anything, he just told that Bobby's father has betrayed him and steal his lover. He
left telling he'll get revenge.

***end of flashbacks***

That's why 1st wife feels a little guilty towards Marianne's father.

At the restaurant, Marianne is getting really popular cooking "tofu dish". Nadia has came to ask
Bobby to cook some dish, but all the names of the dishes on her list is writen in a poetic
enigmatic way, so Bobby has to ask for Roger's help. Roger tells him, that Nadia has used the
names of the dishes from Tao's book, but that book is now forbidden, even if he has a copy.

Next day, Bobby is able to bring the first dish to Nadia. Nadia was playing music and looks so
pretty that Bobby stood there admiring her. Then the perrot surprised him by calling him names;
pervert, rapist, etc... Bobby was afraid that Nadia hears about it, so tries to teach to the
perrot to say: intelligent, good-looking, brave, polite guy... But Nadia surprises him and he
falls in the water again ;) Turns out that pervert, rapist are the only words the perrot knows
;)

Roger is getting out of the library where he went to search some info. It's was raining and a
girl dressed as a boy run into him. Both of them drop their thing and while the girl grab her
things, she tooks Roger's book too and then continue running cos 3 tough guys were chasing after
her. Then Roger realized that he lost the book, so has to find the girl, when he found her, he
offered her to come to his house to eat a little... The girl is Fiona, after eating, she wants
to leave immediatly, but is so weak, that Roger and his mother keep her.

2nd son is loosing money... and then met Cheung... (meaning problems will come!)

Marianne's father has decided to re-open his restaurant and get Marianne back on his side...

That night, Bobby asks Marianne to cook some dishes, even if she's sleepy, she agrees. Then in
the morning, Nadia arrives and Marianne finishes cooking... she discovers that the dish was for
Nadia, so listened to Bobby and Marianne's conversation... at the same time, the other
restaurant is re-opening. So she enters and tells Bobby that she quits her job... then cross the
street and announces that sh will know work in the other restaurant... all the "tofu dish"
fellows cross the street too... at night, all the family is wondering why did she do that...

Next day, Bobby goes to see her, and tries to convince her to come back to his restaurant... to
convince her, he tells lot's of bad thing about her father, it's angers Marianne so much that
she tells him stop insulting his father... bobby realized it was all a trap...

To thank Roger and his mother, Fiona does a lot of chores in the house... then she leaves...
Roger's mother tells him to run after her to give her some money and food... While searching for
her, Roger's sees the 3 bad guys talking, if they find Fiona, they will sell her to a
brothel...after hearing that, he found Fiona and takes her to the port, gave her food and money
and tell her to leave... While the boat was leaving, the 3 bad guys arrived, Roger tries to stop
them and got hit... Fiona didn't want Roger to get hurt, so she jumps in the water and swims
back to the port. 3 guys caught her.

Roger wants to save her back and had the idea to disguise himself as a really tough bad guy to
scare and impress the 3 guys... but his identity is reveal and he got kick out... The leader of
the 3 guys, the one-eye guy is trying to write a really nice emotionnal letter to his mom, but
none of them knows how to write, so the one-eye guy has the idea to ask Roger... they make a
deal: if Roger writes a good letter, they will released Fiona, if not, Roger will be sold in a
brothel too ;) Finally, the one-eye guy is satisfied and released Roger and Fiona.

Fiona has no more family, so she stayed at Roger's house.

Happy Ever After 7-10:

Nadia is searching for Tao with her maid and met Bobby on her way... Bobby was going to the
orphanage and Nadia went with him.... Nadia is a really kind girl, generous, likes to help...
she is considered by many as a goddess... at the orphanage, kids had made a lantern, and
tradditions tell that if someone write a wish on a lantern and let it go in the air, the wish
will become true... so she made her wish... That night, the lantern got stucked on the
orphanage's roof, and it started to burn... They evacuated the place, but one girl was in the
orphanage and Nadia went to save her, but couldn't get out... Even if he is afraid of fire,
Bobby went to rescue Nadia and the little girl, just after saving them, he collaps ;) When he
comes home, no body believes him and he tries to proove them he's not afraid of fire anymore,
but he still is.

Next day, Bobby and Roger are talking... Roger brings up the point that Bobby loves Nadia, cos
if not, Bobby wouldn't risk his life and face his fear to save her... Roger also presents Fiona
and asks Bobby if he has a job for her..

At the restaurant, there's not many customers.

After a talk with Marianne's father and Nadia, Bobby goes to apologize to Marianne... but
there's still tension.

To save the orphans, Nadia sells all her jewelry to get some money... To please her, Bobby buys
it all back...

2rd son has taking the power, he is now the owner of the restaurant. He said that he has a
strategy to get back the customers so they could run the restaurant... His strategy: Selling
food for cheap prices, but the quality of the food isn't good at all, but he made profits...

Fiona is now working for Bobby's family... during her work, she got closed to 2nd wife and
became her maid... (poor her!)

Bobby has invited Nadia to eat at the orphanage and play with the little kids... They are
finding a way to help little orphans: re-open the orphanage, but they need money... They decided
to organize a "charity evening".

Next day, when Marianne went to visit the little orphans at the temporary place, she met
Nadia... Then suddenly, 2 little kids were sick, so they have to take them on they back and go
to a doctor... on her way, Nadia got hurt to her foot... After this, Marianne and Nadia
understood themselves better and forgave all the other misunderstands. Also, Marianne agrees to
participate to the "charity evening".

2nd son has secretly open an account somewhere... only person to know is his mother... she's is
very pleased, now her turn to be rich and all... but soon, 2nd son get into troubles... cos his
business is kinda falling, and Cheung, his partner wants to buy Bobby's restaurant... 2nd son's
negative answer causes a lot of problems.

Roger needs money to go to the capital to participate at the contest this year. He tries to sell
his paints, but no one would buy it... He got discouraged, but Fiona is there to cheer him up
and help him regained confidence. To get some money to help Roger, she becomes a real maid into
Bobby's family, meaning she had sold herself to his family. She gives the money to Roger, but
lied about where it's from... so Roger just think that Fiona was lucky and has found it.

It's big day... Roger is going to the capital... Fiona went to go to tell him good-bye and good
lucky, but 2nd wife isn't in a good mood, so Fiona got into some problems... after, she had to
run to go to the port.. During that time, Roger's mother is feeling uncomfortable about this
lie, so she tells the truth to Roger about Fiona becoming a maid... When Fiona arrives, her 2
knees are bleeding.... Roger swears that he will win the contest and become a letter minister.

At the restaurant, they have problems with the food... food isn't fresh, and it's difficult to
cook and all... and a lot of customers have been sick after eating the food... also, 2nd son has
like sell actions to customers, so they want their money back...

It's the "charity evening". Everything is great... they are receiving lot'sa money and all the
shows are entertaining... (Cheung had planned to rent persons to ruin the "charity evening", but
b/c there was the region minister, they didn't do anything) The "charity evening" was really a
great success and they had ammassed a real big amount of money. During the evening, 1st wife met
an old acquaintance...

Then she goes to see Marianne's father and she said someone want to see him: old acquaintance
that 1st wife just met again, the jailer... actually, while Marianne's father was in jail, he
got sick and Bobby's father has taking care of him during all that period, paying th jailer to
let him into the jail... after taking care of Marianne's father, it was his turn to get sick...
there wasn't many chances for him to survive, and Bobby's mother heard that if there was a
wedding, luck will come back, that's why she married Bobby's father... after hearing all that,
Marianne's father revenge desires had all disappeared.. he told to Cheung to forget about all
their plan, just let destiny doing all... but Cheung couldn't let go the plan, he wants Bobby's
to loose everything...

At night, Nadia receives a message and has to leave the city in a hurry... on her way, she met
Marianne and asks her to give a letter to Bobby.However, Bobby's family is in big troubles, 2nd
son has failed in business and they have to pay back all the one who has bought actions... 2nd
son and wife are afraid so they run away letting Bobby, his mother and youngest son behind.
Bobby sells everything in his house, including the house, and take all the money... at the
restaurant, he tried to repay all the customers, but turns out his brother had lied and Bobby's
ammount was only the half of what he needed ... b/c he couldn't all repay, the customers started
to take all the food, table, chair, everything of the restaurant, it was their way of getting
repay... it caused a big commotion and Bobby got hurt,so 3rd son took him back to the house...
Just after, Marianne arrives to give the letter and sees all and Cheung is also standing there
watching, he looks satisfied... Marianne got so angry and they have an argument... she left too
and went to find Bobby... when she found him, his family isn't very happy to see her, telling
it's all her side's fault... when she wanted to give him the letter, turns out she lost the
letter and then Bobby got really angry and tell her to go away... bobby's family would have go
to jail, b/c they didn't pay. So Bobby, his mother, 3rd son and also Fiona have to leave the
house and all... they plan to go to the capital to find Roger to ask him help... as for
Marianne, she went to the restaurant and found the letter, but when she came back, they have
already left...

At the capital, they are unable to find Roger... they had go to Angie's family store, but
everyone said they don't know any Roger... They need a room to stay, so Bobby and his brother
had to lie... it was the contest time in the capital,so in the hotel, there were special price
for the participants... so they have to act if they were letter men... and at night, they let
1st wife and Fiona get in... but the owner of the hotel discovered the truth, but b/c they've
made lot of noises, owner didn't ask them for more money...

Kong Wah is finally introduc in the serie as a king! He is at a temple, thinking about good
memories about his dearest concubine who looks exactly like Nadia... it will be NadiaC... She
has died 3 years ago and he still can forget her... To change his mind, he decides to visit the
capital and the ambiance is very good... He get into a restaurant where's there's a contest, you
have to guess what the dish or made of... Kong Wah participated and manages to pass 1st and 2nd
dish... At the 3rd dish, Bobby appears and it's like a contest btw Bobby and Kong Wah, the price
is money... The 3rd dish is made of 9 sorts of meat... they have found 4 sorts each, then Bobby
goes to bathroom, when he get out, one of Kong Wah man threaten him... telling him to loose but
whitout getting suspicious... this guy will be call "bad general". So they continue the contest
and Bobby says all stupid answer like durian, etc... Then, there was an insect crawling on
Bobby's hand and he screams the name of the bug, turns out it was the good answer!!! ;) Kong Wah
stares at Bobby really long, Bobby being a little afraid, and after, Kong Wah said he was pretty
good, he had a king tongue! and left.

At the palace, Kong Wah has to greet his mother, the queen, but he get sick...

*the events of this sum' part may not be in good order, but the main points are all there.

Happy Ever After 11-14:

Kong Wah is sick, he got poisoned while he ate the dishes at the contest... at the palace, the
doctors can't try any antidotes, cos they're afraid to kill the king... the bad general had a
solution...

Bobby is also sick and the others doesn't know what to do... they had asked for a medecin, but
he doesn't know what to do... Next day, Fiona was passing in front of Angie's family
restaurant.. she saw Angie and asked her about Roger, but Angie told she doesn't know any
Roger... Fiona decided to follow Angie and finally found Roger... Turns out Roger is in a
mountain in a crappy house studying... When Angie left, Fiona went to tell Roger that Bobby was
sick... Roger tried to find a really good doctor, but his predicton was that Bobby would die...
While everyone were outside, some black dressed men arrived and kidnapped Bobby... at the hotel,
everyone thinks Bobby's death...

Turns out, Bobby had been brought to the palace by the bad general... cos both Bobby and Kong
Wah had the same illness, the doctors can try to find an antidote on Bobby's body... even if
Bobby died, it's isn't as important as if the king died... and the doctors finally succeed in
finding an antidote... and they go cure Kong Wah, and Kong Wah is now fine... he wanted to take
a bath...

while Bobby stayed with a gard.. but somehow, when he woke up, all the situations give him the
impression of being in hell... he finally met Kong Wah again and thought that Kong Wah was in
boiling oil, he didn't know that Kong Wah was the king yet... then after, he fainted cos the bad
general hit him... Bad general has to explain to Kong Wah that if he's still alive, it's because
of Bobby... They bring Bobby back's to the hotel... The family is so happy to see him again...
they left the hotel and went to live with Roger... They are all surprised b/c the look of the
house and are suspicious about Angie, the way she treats him and all...

Bobby decided to work and went to a restaurant where they needed a waiter... but he only met an
mute woman, Xuan, and an old man ... The old man seems to be a real good cook, but when Bobby's
tasted the food, he keeps criticized... while Bobby criticized the food, you have images of Kong
Wah who is saying the same thing as Bobby ;) Anyway, the old man tells Bobby to go to his house
to try some food to proove to him that he's a good cook... and Bobby has to come back in 3 days
for the job...

On his way home, he sees him mom telling a false story to people to get some money and he feels
uncomfortable... When Angie knew that Bobby's family were living with Roger, she wasn't happy,
cos it will disturb Roger in his studies and the contest was really soon... but b4 leaving,
Fiona caught her attention and she became Angie's maid...

Bobby went to the old man house and tried his dished, but he could only keep criticized it...
and it's writing for the old man some menus...

Surprisely, Angie has found a copy of the contest that Roger will attend... she has paid for a
fortune, but Roger didn't want to cheat, so he told it to authorities and his name was
mentionned to the king... the king was really unhappy and decided to re-write the whole
questionnary...

in the capital, Bobby has met his brother, 2nd son again... Turns out that 2nd son is now
working for Cheung... all what Cheung tells, he is doing it... Cheung take care of 2nd son and
his mom by giving them money, so 2nd son didn't go back with Bobby and that's angry him a lot...

nadia came back to her home... the reason why she left so rapidly is that her father got
injuried during battle... she was worried, but our goddess still help the others... at house,
she even wrote a document for her father, this document being submitted later to the king... she
is also wondering why Bobby didn't answer to her letter...

Bobby came back to the restaurant for the job, but the owner told him, he just sold his
restaurant to someone else, so he should ask for the new owner... just then, the new owners come
in....... Marianne and her father! Marianne seems very happy to see Bobby again... while Bobby
is wondering what he did, why god is playing him and all... Bobby doesn't want to listen to what
Marianne has to say... Marianne and her father learn from Bobby that Cheung is also in the
capital... Seems that Cheung has also fooled Marianne and her father...

Next day, Marianne sees Fiona (i think) and she brings her to Roger's house... Marianne wants to
give Bobby's Nadia's letter, the letter is half erased cos it's been in water... also they get
in a big fight... and it's really funny ;)

Something is done behing Bobby's back.. 3rd son has found a job... everyone is avoiding him and
all... turns out Marianne's restaurant is opening ;) Bobby is very shocked that everyone helps
Marianne and her father after what they did... but all the misunderstand btw the 2 families had
been cleared up... now, Bobby has no choice then forget everything that happened... ;)

Bobby keeps going to the old man's house to try dishes... Marianne and him are now wondering why
the old man needs Bobby to taste the food...

Marianne, Roger and 3rd son decided to help Bobby confronting his fear of fire... they succeed,
but bobby has gone through a lot ;)

Marianne finally discovered that the old man is a cook in the palace :) Bobby thinks it's his
chance,and asks him to become his disciple now that he isn't afraid of fire anymore..., but the
old man refuse... Bobby is so angry that finally, he writes a menus that doesn't make any
sense... but just later after, Marianne tells him that the menu are writen for the king... Bobby
is so scared that he rushed to the palace and asks for the old man, guards tell him to wait, but
actually, the old man has been killed by the king b/c of the food..

Bobby's feel really guilty... and decided to cook a meal for the old man... Marianne's is
training him and everytimes he get lazy, he sees the ghost of the old man... actually, it's only
a trap ;) when Bobby's discovered all, he tried to trick them... anyway... he end up becoming
the old man's disciple...

happy ever after 15-17

The big day has come for Roger: the contest... how ever, the bad general is present at the
contest, and he wants to seek revenge, cos Roger has made him lost a lot of money by telling the
king about the copy of the contest. So he put some medecine in Roger's tea and that make him
sick, so during the contest, Roger couldn't get out for the toilet ;) and he flunk.

Outside, Angie was waiting with Fiona. When she saw that Roger has failed, she left, very
angry... At house, she accept a minister, Joe Ma, proposal. She kicks out Fiona, cos she has
helped Roger who was trying to see Angie to explain her what happened. She also tells to Roger
that they are no longer together. From then, Roger isn't happy anymore, he doesn't talk, doesn't
smile, doesn't eat, only sleep.

The queen has organized a little party: she wants to choose a new concubine for Kong Wah. Nadia
is at the little party and when the queen sees her, she tells to herself that Nadia looks alike
so much... After finding Nadia to much smart, Nadia would interfer in the court story, she gives
Nadia something and asked her to leave... Actually, Nadia didn't want to meet the king, so she
did it on purpose. At the party, another girl catches the queen attention: the bad general's
niece. The queen chose her for Kong Wah.

Marianne often cough, so Bobby has decided to go to the mountains to find some medecine... When
he found out the flower, he wanted to take it, but at the same time, another person was seeking
for this flower, and both of them were surprised. It turned out to be a woman that look exactly
like Nadia that Bobby thought it was her. When he begins to talk, the woman ran away. It started
to rain, so Bobby went to find a house to ask for an umbrella... Turns out to be the house of
the woman.... she lives there with her maid, and we find out that she's NadiaC.

Kong Wah has meet the bad general's niece. He agreed to pass with her some time, cos she reminds
him a little bit NadiaC. They went walking in the mountains and in an accident, he falls down
from the cliff... Everyone was really worried, afraid for their head. Back to the palace, the
queen was really angry and gave the bad general 3 days to find Kong Wah.

Kong Wah was lucky, he falls into a river, where Bobby was fishing... as a result: Bobby caught
Kong Wah ;) He brings him back to his house, but when Kong Wah woke up, turns out he lost his
memory. In the few days while Kong Wah stayed at Bobby's house, he caused some troubles and
annoyes the other... so Bobby decided to bring him to the city and left him alone.

When Bobby left Kong Wah alone, he didn't really go, cos he was worried about Kong Wah. But Kong
Wah only started to tease a peasant and Bobby felt guilty, so he brought Kong Wah back to his
home. Kong Wah became 1st wife god-son. But it was mostly Xuan who took care of him. actually,
if people wouldn't know, they would mistaken them as a mother and her son.

Bobby is now a good cook and his si fu is satisfied. Bobby asked his master what would you cook
for someone who has lost his appetite and the answer was a special soup. So Bobby cook it and
brought it to NadiaC who accepted to eat it when she heard bobby talks about the king. She also
asks him some news about the Kong wah and Bobby answered that Kong Wah was a good king.

Bobby comes back and brought some more medecine for Marianne, but she got suspicious, cos she
does not cough anymore. so she is wondering why he often goes to the mountain.

Kong Wah got bored, so he went to disturb Roger. Fiona got angry at him, and he right away guess
that Fiona is in love with Roger.

Bobby goes back to the mountain again, this time Marianne was following him and Kong Wah thought
it was a game, so he followed too. But Kong Wah got distract for a moment and as a result: he's
lost in the forest. On his way, Bobby has the impression that someone follow him, so try to get
the person lost by hiding himself in a tree... but he fell down the tree. Marianne saw his shirt
and thought he was injuried and got so worry... But Bobby appears and he's wondering why she is
so worry and she answer that she cares about him. Bobby, then, asks her if it could be possible
that Marianne loves him, and she answers yes... Bobby is so surprised that he run away, telling
he has something to do. ;)

NadiaC starts to play music, and in the forest, Kong Wah hears it and found it so familiar. So
Kong Wah decided to follow the music and he finally found out the house where NadiaC lives, but
he couldn't see her a face, so Kong wah climbs on the wall and when he saw NadiaC, he remebered,
but fell from the wall and faints. Nadia could only see his back and thought it was bobby cos
Kong Wah was wearing bobby's clothes. But Bobby suddenly arrives. He brings Kong Wah back to the
house. Marianne was worried, and has stood there all the day, then when she decided to leave,
Bobby arrives and asked for her help to carry Kong Wah.

It started to rain and they found a cave... they took Kong Wah's clothes off, and it's so funny,
cos you only see their shadows and you think that they taking off their own clothes ;) anyway,
in the cave, Bobby admits that he also loves her too :) And he hug her. It's pretty funny ;)

Happy ever After 18-21

So now, Bobby and Marianne are a couple, well for them... they come back to home, Kong Wah still
didn't woke up yet... but they doesn't want the others to know, cos they are kind of shy... so
they come back home and argue in front of everyone, they try to do as if it was like before, but
no one believe them... they all know that they are now together... Bobby's si fu is here, he
wanted to tell Bobby that a cook in the palace was leaving, so there would be a place free...

Then after, Bobby and 3rd son bring our fainted Kong Wah, and all of a sudden, Roger and bobby's
master kneels b/c they know it's the king... Everyone kneels and they decided to bring Kong Wah
back to the palace and hope that Kong Wah will reward Bobby... Xuan is acting very strangely to
all this, she tries to hide herself...

In the street, when they were bringing back Kong Wah, they run into the bad general and the bad
general tells them that they would bring Kong Wah back to the palace... actually, he does but
also, he tells the queen that it's his niece that has found Kong Wah and rescued him... Since
the queen actually likes the niece already, she believes bad general and tells the niece that
she would become a concubine... from now on, she would be known as bad concubine.

Kong Wah finally wakes up and immediately rushed to the mountain where he has seen NadiaC...
NadiaC tries to avoid him, but they are meant to be together and she finally comes back with him
to the palace... She is kinda scared, cos 3 years ago, she has sworn to the queen that she won't
ever meet Kong Wah again... What actually happened 3 years ago is: NadiaC was Kong Wah's fav.
concubine... he allowed her lot's of his time and they were dancing and eating and playing
music, but in the Western's way. One day, during a storm, Kong Wah trone gets it by the thunder
and the queen blames NadiaC.. it's all b/c of her, Kong Wah isn't paying enough attention to all
and blablabla... Actually, she would have been hung up, but she wasn't meant to die, so the
queen has no other choice then chased her from the palace while Kong Wah was absent. But NadiaC
didn't tell Kongn Wah the truth, even if he has asked it... she only tells him that she got
chickenpox and she was afraid that Kong Wah get it... Back to the palace, the queen agrees
NadiaC to stay, but she isn't very happy... and she also announce to Kong Wah that tonight, he
was married the bad concubine... but that night, he just came and give the bad concubine a gift
and after, went spend the night with NadiaC.

Everyone at the restaurant is very sad that Bobby didn't get reward.. they finally decided to
re-open the restaurant... Fiona and Marianne go to buy supply and they find Roger's mom at
Angie's store... she was begging the girl to let her know where Roger's was or to see Angie...
So Fiona and Marianne bring her back to their house, turns out that in the region where they
were living, all was flood and she came here to find Roger... Roger feels very unconfortable,
b/c of him, his mother has suffered so much.. Next day, Fiona was praying for Roger... from
then, Marianne knew that Fiona loved Roger and tells her to say it to Roger, but Fiona just
couldn't... from then, she starts to take care of Roger's mom... even Roger's mom knew that
Fiona was in love with her son and she hoped that Fiona will become her daughter-in-law, b/c she
knew that she has done so much for Roger. Roger heard his mother and Fiona's talk and he wanted
to discouraged Fiona, he wanted to move on and learn how to cook. He told Fiona that she was
putting pressure on him and she ran away.. actually he just loves her to and didnt' want to
affect her life...

Then he learn that she was going to marry the crazy guy of the town, and everyone seems to be
happy for her... on the day of the wedding, Roger decided to save Fiona, he won't let her marry
anyone... but no one would help him... then he just show his true feelings and Fiona was
standing behind him and heard everything... it was just a plan, they wanted Roger to show his
true feelings towards Fiona. He apologizes to her, they become a couple and he starts to study
again.

Marianne is somehow jealous of Nadia and she asked Bobby about the mountain episod... he brought
her to the house, but they were no one and then, she does a jealousy scene ;)

NadiaC isn't as happy as b4 at the palace... Kong wah tries to cheer her up, even if she was
happy again, her appetite didn't come back...

The bad concubine is jealous and asked her aunt what to do... her aunt tells him to become a
closed friend of NadiaC, so she would won Kong Wah's heart at the same time... and it's work.
Bad general put Cheung in the cooking team at a really high rank and it doesn't please
everyone... As for Bobby, he is preparing himself to the cooking contest.. the day b4 the
contest, Marianne wants to meet him in private in the kitchen.... Bobby thinks that Marianne
wants him and her to become closer, but she actually, just wanted to give him a novel of all
the experiences of hot and spicy cooking that her father had...

But at the contest, Bobby fails... even if he has a great presentation and his food was supposed
to be really good, Cheung has tricked his disch so the taste wasn't good... 2nd son was
chosen... Bobby's master was really mad and went to see the cheater, but he got kick out from
the team of cooking... Marianne and bobby are forced to bring him back to house by force. Then
they tell him to go travelling around and he follows the advice.

Roger is sick and they go to see the doctor...The doctor told that Roger has only 2-3 days left
to live... Fiona was so sad, she told Marianne and Roger's mom has heard it... Fiona has decided
to marry Roger right away. Roger mom tells him that he would get married in 2 days and tells him
to go try his wedding gowns... he saw an outfit on the bed and try it, turns out it was a
funeral gowns ;0) funny ;) Roger gives her a gift to show how strong was their love ;) But Roger
manages to learn about his soon death and doesn't want to get married, but then, 3rd son arrives
and tells them that the doctor was just a charlatan... the wedding took place and everyone was
happy ;)

Even if Cheung is on the cooking team, his cooking didn't really improve... he actually used
Bobby's way to cook by asking 2nd son how Bobby would cook this and etc... The queen hold a
reception and reward Cheung on his cooking... an incident happened to NadiaC, but bad concubine
helped her... so she started to won Kong Wah heart..

The restaurant isn't a big success, so Bobby decide to go sell his food on the street, but even
there, no one would try... one day, Marianne finds a letter that Bobby has wrote for Nadia in
his clothes and she went to ask him explanation... Accidently,they created a new dish that
becomes very very popular... They named it Beef of Wed Couple... Even in the palace, the guards
are eating Beef of Web Couple and the smell attract Kong Wah, so he went in the city to find
Bobby for the food... when Kong Wah appears, all Bobby's family kneels and greeted the king...
He is kinda surprised that they know,but Bobby tells him it's from the Food Contest... anyway,
Bobby has became a cook in the palace. And Bobby is doing really well, just that nobody knows it
b/c of Cheung. So Cheung received all the rewards... when Bobby discovers all that, he starts a
fight with his young brother and he is transfered to the snack cooking section.

In the snack cooking section, Bobby get bored, he tried new snacks, but the others cooks doesn't
want him to create anything... just follow all the others snacks... :) it's pretty funny that
part. He had made a friend in Cheung's cooking team: Ho... one night, when NadiaC and Kong Wah
were together, they decide to have snack, and Ho was really surprised b/c the king usually
doesn't have snack... he was sick and unable to cook, hopely, Bobby was there so he cook the
food... He does the same soup that he has already cook once for NadiaC and she recognized it so
asked for the one who has made the soup... When she knew it was Bobby, she then tells Kong wah
that someone has helped her and it was Bobby and they have becomes friend... Kong Wah looked
jealous and asked for Bobby... when Bobby saw NadiaC, he was really surprised... NadiaC is a
little bit worried about Kong Wah attitude and when Bobby understood that Kong Wah has doubt
about his relationship with NadiaC, he tried to explain everything... Actually, Kong Wah was
only testing Bobby and Bobby is now NadiaC's particular cook. Bobby announces that he would
marry Marianne and he goes to nargue Cheung and take Ho in his special team ;)

Happy Ever After 21-25

Kong Wah seems pretty jealous, but in reality, he is just testing Bobby about his loyalty towards NadiaC. After, he named Bobby as NadiaC particular cook. When he comes back to the kitchen, he tricks Cheung Khanh Ka and since the king told him to choose a cook help, he chose Ho. One afternoon, while they were thinking about what to cook, Bobby came up with the idea to cook fishes, and then, put it back in water, and it’s come back to life... When he does so in front of Kong Wah, the king remembers everything, all what happened to him when he was living with Bobby’s family and decides to pay them a visit. Since Xuan has treated him very well, it’s now his turn to treat her well, and they seem very closed. Again, Roger isn’t lucky and missed Kong Wah’s visit, so they didn’t meet face to face.

Bobby is gaining popularity in the palace : he is cooking in front of the concubines and telling funny stories at the same time, he told a little about Kong Wah’s story when he was living with them and it’s make the concubines laugh. Also, he starts to give food advice to the concubines to help them to keep their health and beauty. As for the rest of the cooks, they don’t work much, since Kong Wah is almost always eating with NadiaC.

One night, in the kitchen, there’s was some food that stink : Cheese... The cooks didn’t know what to do with it, and live it there to Bobby, but when he tried, he found it very good... Then the king, attracted by the smell joined him eating... Their relationship is growing very closed. Next day, Bobby talks of Roger in front of Kong Wah telling him how Roger and Fiona love each other, etc... Kong Wah doesn’t believe Bobby’s says, so he tested Roger himself.

1st test : Roger rescued a girl who almost get raped by robbers. Then to thank Roger, the girl wanted to marry him. Result : Roger was so afraid that he ran away J

2nd test : Roger received a letter telling that he has to join the army, everyone knows that he isn’t a muscular guy and all... on their last supper together, b4 Roger leaves, Fiona put some sleeping medicine in Roger’s drink, and when he fell asleep, Fiona dressed as a man, went to the army to engage herself, but the minister saw her ears pierced, so figured out she was a woman. As for Roger, when he woke up, he figured out right away where was Fiona, so he went to save her, they were supposed to get arrested, but Bobby arrived on time. He brought Roger to the palace, and after asking Roger some questions, Kong Wah gave him a little rank in the court, so now, Roger is a minister.

At home, they all celebrated the event, since both of Roger and Bobby have now realized their dreams. Marianne wants Bobby to marry her right now, and tries on many occasions to tell him, but everyone seem to ignore her and they leave her alone... but they all come back with wedding’s preparations... they were only teasing her... On that night, when Roger, Bobby, Ho and the cook leader went out to celebrate, Bobby saw Nadia in front of a brothel, but just after, she had disappeared... Then, during few days after, he can’t focused, and NadiaC has guessed and told him that there wasn’t 3 identical persons on the Earth.

Kong Wah asked for a book and wanted to talk about it with Roger, but somehow, Roger got suspicious on the book, b/c the handwriting inside doesn’t match with the description, so he is wondering if possibly, it could be a faked book. Then, he surprised his superior talking with the « bad general » on a rule and how much his superior owns « bad general »’s money and then, his superior said that he has a way to find money... He decides to tell about it to Bobby, but the 2 of them were talking about 2 different subjects, Bobby : Nadia, and Roger, the books affairs, and then, they give each other some advice.

Marianne is shopping for her wedding’s accessories and in a store, she sees Nadia and try to avoid her, but finally, Nadia sees Marianne and went to asks Marianne questions about Bobby. She tells Marianne to tell Bobby that she is looking for him. Marianne is afraid, she feels bad and doesn’t know if she should tell Bobby the message. She decides to tell him, but he isn’t at home, and she feels released. As for Roger, he has told the king about the books affair and Kong Wah agrees that there’s something wrong with the books and put Roger in charges to investigate about it since he is new and only few persons know him. Bobby tries to get some clues from « bad general », so he is very polite with him, and help him and all.

Marianne decides to fabric a lantern, write her wish on it and let it go away in the air (just like Nadia did at the orphanage). Her wish was that Nadia would find a very nice and good husband, someone else then Bobby. Nadia and Bobby have both saw the lantern in the air and decided to follow it and they ended up meeting. They have a talk and Nadia told him about meeting Marianne and give her a message... When Bobby comes back home, Marianne doesn’t stop talking, but not a words on Nadia’s message. Suddenly, Nadia comes in the restaurant, and Marianne becomes very upset and jealous, they start an argue and talk about the wedding, and she finally hit him with the chair J As for Nadia, she feels very uncomfortable, now that she knows that Bobby and Marianne are engaged. Roger and Fiona tries to make up thing again btw Bobby and Marianne and there’s a talk btw Roger and Bobby, Fiona and Marianne, and it’s pretty funny...

They are trying at the palace to trick the « bad general ». Kong Wah has just received a painting from Russia or somewhere else and called Bobby and « bad general ». On the painting, Bobby put some pepper and then, told the « bad general » to see it, b/c in the painting, you could see a pretty woman... when « bad general » takes out the cloth on the painting, he sneezes on the painting and ruin it... Then, to win « bad general » favors, Bobby takes all the blames on him when Kong Wah asked about what happened to his painting... He got 50 hit, but since Kong Wah gave him a cushion, Bobby didn’t suffer. Also, Kong Wah eunuch is reclaiming money from Bobby and the « bad general » supposed that Bobby has lot’s of debt, so to thank him, he tells Bobby to come to cook for one of his reception.

Bobby went to « bad general » with Roger who is disguised and Marianne has secretly followed them thinking that Bobby went to see Nadia. While Bobby is cooking, Roger inspected the house, searching for evidences and then found a booklet in which debts of many ministers of the court were writing. They all own the « bad general » millions and more... He go back searching for Bobby and they left the house, but outside, Marianne was waiting and when she saw him, she started to scream after him, asking for explanations and all... « Bad General » went out to see what is happening and at the same time, Roger dropped the booklet, so « bad general »’s men start to run after them. They split up, Roger headed the palace to see Kong Wah, Marianne ran back home and Bobby ran into Nadia’s house and entered her room, while she was taking her bath... He hide himself in the bath and Nadia chased « bad general »’s men, threatening them with her father’s name... As for Nadia, she got out of the bath, but fall on the floor pulling Bobby with her... so Bobby fall on her and they were about to kiss, when Nadia’s maid interrupted them... The « bad general »’s men were still around the house... Bobby has to stay at Nadia’s house and he has broken Nadia’s slide so tells her he would repaired it... Also, Nadia’s foot is injured and during the night, Bobby couldn’t sleep, he was worried about Marianne... Nadia got fever and Bobby stand by her side all the night in case. As for Marianne, she is very worried for Bobby and went searching for him with 1st wife and 3rd son.... but didn’t find him... Finally, in the morning, Bobby left Nadia’s house, but Marianne saw him, and again she got very jealous and they argue.

In the palace, Kong Wah is very mad about all the debts thing... he decided to punish everyone, so everyone lost 1 rank, also, they would continue to pay their debts, but it will all go to the peasants.

As for Marianne and Bobby’s couple, well both are really mad, and no one would apologize. Everyone is worried. To help Bobby to choose, Roger tells him to close his eyes and the one he’ll see, it’s the woman he truly love and it’s Marianne.

The Queen has organized a vegetarian’s dinner, but NadiaC is absent... Turns out, NadiaC has been copying prayers for the next day, so the Queen forgives her. The next day, all the concubines went to the temple, but a earthquake and the Queen is trapped in the temple’s ruins with NadiaC, but both are safe. Everyone is very worried especially Kong Wah, and it’s also start to rain... in the temple, NadiaC sees a mouse, so she caught it and attached to it a thread of her scarf and the Queen ring and let it go... Kong Wah found the mouse and followed the thread to find the Queen and NadiaC. But b/c saving the Queen, NadiaC is exhausted and fainted... from now on, the Queen relationship with NadiaC is better... Kong Wah organized a reception, and Bobby cooks something really surprising J

Bobby got rewarded from the Queen, and they finally have a new house, where Bobby’s family with Xuan live. Then, 1st wife brought Bobby and Marianne to their future room and tell them to apologize b/c she wants to have a grandchild soon, so both of them apologize and everything is fine, the misunderstood is solve, but then, Marianne found Nadia’s slide and thought it was for her, but when she knew it was for Nadia, she got jealous again. She tells him she doesn’t want him to meet Nadia again, but he didn’t agree and say that maybe they should wait a little b4 getting wed to understand each other more... Marianne left crying... she went to eat really hot food to let out her frustrations, but see Nadia... she tries to hide her face in her bowl, but too late... also, her face were all dirty after. They went talking and Marianne says to Nadia that she gave up on Bobby, that Nadia should the one being with Bobby and b4 Nadia can say anything, she jumped on Cheung Khanh Ka’s boat. Nadia wanted to run after Marianne, but her foot hurt, so she went to see Bobby instead and told him that Marianne went with her senior brother... Bobby’s reaction was immediate, he was very worried, told that Cheung Khanh Ka was a bad guy and went to search for Marianne. Nadia was disappointed, b/c she likes him, but when she saw his reaction, she knew that they couldn’t be together....

On the boat, Cheung Khanh Ka tried to rape Marianne, so she jumped into the water and swim back all the night... went she comes home, she told Bobby that she lost her virginity, but Fiona knows she is lying... In the palace kitchen, Bobby attacked Cheung Khanh Ka with a knife and the king decided to judge the case. Kong Wah called Marianne up and they start to argue J this scene is very funny ! At last, Kong Wah told Bobby and Marianne to get married... and also, Bobby have to swear that he won’t marry anyone else.

Happy Ever After 26-30

On the night of the wedding, Nadia came to give a gift and also announce that she will leave the capital for a while, she has decided to go help people in another region. Of course, on the wedding night, Bobby’s now father-in-law and the rest played tricks on him... at the end, when they left the room, they saw lot’s of insects. On Fiona and Roger’s way home, they see lot’s of mice. Roger is suspicious and wondering what is happening, so he went to a special room. In this room, there’s a lot of eathquarters’ instruments, and Roger asked the guy in charges if they would be a possibility that there will be a earthquarter. Then, at the same time, all the instruments starts to move announcing a the strongest earthquarter never seen. But when Roger tells it to the King, no one believes him, even if strange things occurred in the palace. Few days later, Roger receives a letter from the main guy in charge of the special room, the letter says that in 10 days, earthquarter will occur, so with the help of Bobby and NadiaC, they have to make the king believe them, they succeed in it, and everyone in Roger and Bobby’s families are rewarded. As for NadiaC, well Kong Wah wanted her to become his queen, but his mother told him that only when she’ll be pregnant, she’ll become the king.

Now that Roger is rich, he wants Fiona to look like a minister’s wife, dress with a lots of jewelry and all. He doesn’t want her to be cheap and economic anymore. So to please him, Fiona has to dress up. She and Marianne go shopping and they learn that Angie’s restaurant is now closed and her father is dead. Angie’s husband has been put in jail, so she tries to find a way to deliver him. For that, she needs Roger or Bobby’s help, b/c they are two influent persons of the king. So she fools Marianne and Fiona and meet Roger. She asks him to help her and all, but it’s a bit hard for him, b/c the problem has been occurred in another region then his. Actually, Angie’s husband has been accused to steal money from the amount given by the King to build a barrage. He has been stealing money, but Angie didn’t tell Roger, but he also has a head behind him, a minister called Mac Hong Nien and the bad general is also part of this stealing affairs. Marianne doesn’t believe Angie and she is afraid that problems will occur in Fiona-Roger couple b/c of Angie.

Bobby wants to buy this really rare fish, but someone has bought it b4, Mac Hong Nien. So Bobby goes and asks him to give him the fish, but Mac Hong Nien doesn’t agree, so Bobby says he would cook it. Problems has already happened in Roger-Fiona couple, she looks really pitiful. As for Bobby, he cooked the fish and it was a really big success, also, that night, he went investigate the house, and found a passage in one of the wall... Behind the wall, it was all gold, the gold that Mac Hong Nien has stolen. Roger and Bobby decided to tell the king about their discovery, but will end up being in big troubles. Roger has now lost his rank and Bobby has to be executed it, b/c he has laughed of Kong Wah by telling stories to the concubines. NadiaC went to the Queen to help Bobby, but the Queen reminds her that concubines doesn’t have the rights to say a word about what is happening in the court.

Bobby is put in jail and has to wait until his execution. The food in jail isn’t good at all... as for Angie’s husband, he is released and sent to another region, but on the way, he is killed by « bad general ». When Marianne knew for Bobby, she went right away to find Angie and wanted to kille her, but of course the others has stopped her. As for Angie, well she is a real comedian. They try to find a way to stop the execution and Roger has the idea to sign a petition, since Bobby has saved all the capital from death by making them avoid the earthquarter. As for 3rd son, he comes up with the idea to cause an accident in which the king would be involved, but the King wouldn’t have anything, since they will save him. Xuan seems strange, she doesn’t agree with their plan. The next day, they went to sign the petition and another group to cause an accident. Turns out the king doesn’t show up, b/c he changed of plan, but Xuan has appeared, and she is the one who get injured : her and 3rd son fall from the cliff, 3rd son broke his arm, while Xuan collapse.

Bobby has surprisingly a good meal : his last meal b4 death. Marianne has the rights to pay him a visit. As for Kong Wah, well he isn’t happy at all, since he never wanted to execute Bobby, but he has to prove his authority. NadiaC arrives late, cos she has been cooking something for the King, turns out to be the same soup that Bobby has cooked for her b4. Then that night, she gives Kong Wah the petition.

Angie and Fiona were walking in the street, when Angie is kidnapped by 2 men, she then learns that her husband is now dead and he has left many debts. The 2 men sell her to a brother, but when she was in it, she makes 3 rules with the madam, she was ready to accept the customers, but then Roger arrives, and she does if she was ashamed to be in that kind of establishment and all, Roger brings her back to his house. When Marianne knew about Angie staying with Roger and Fiona, she wasn’t happy, b/c she believes that Angie isn’t a good person. Fiona doesn’t say nothing, and they feed Xuan. Then Xuan starts to talk in her sleep, they were so surprised. She was calling a name, so they called the others, and when Roger enters, they realized that she has been calling the real name of Kong Wah. Marianne and Fiona found a baby shirt and a piece of jade and assumed that Xuan is Kong Wah’s real mother. They are so happy, b/c Xuan can saved Bobby. Marianne went to say it to NadiaC who tells it to Kong Wah. Kong Wah is suspicious, so he asked the question to the Queen. The Queen is somehow surprised and lied to Kong Wah, but he knows that the Queen is lying and believe more and more that Xuan could be his mother and he wants to find the truth. That night, the Queen is recalling taking a way a baby from Xuan and said that from now on, Kong Wah will be her son.

Xuan finally wakes up and the rest of the group kneels down and treats her as if she was the Queen. When xuan doesn’t find her things, she is getting scared and nervous, and tells them to run away, but then, black men arrived and tried to kill Xuan. NadiaC arrives in time with soldiers, so the black men run away, but soldiers are able to say that black men are the Queen’s men. NadiaC and Xuan have a conversation in which Xuan denies that she is Kong Wah’s mother, but NadiaC traps her and Xuan has to tell the truth. Everyone has to go in a temple, where soldiers are protecting them, while NadiaC goes back to the palace and wants to go see the King, but she is interrupted by the Queen’s eunuch, the Queen wants to see her. On her way, she finds a pretext to stop at the bad concubine room, writes a letter, and asked the bad concubine to give it to the king. However, the bad concubine opened it. After, she gives it to Kong Wah and he leaves right away, and when the Queen learns about it, she follows him immediatly.

At the temple, everyone begs Xuan to save Bobby, but Xuan keeps tell them she isn’t the queen, but then, Kong Wah arrives. They have a talk in which again, Xuan denies that she is his mother... The Queen appears, and you see Kong Wah hesitating to call the Queen mother or godmother. Finally, he calls her godmother, then after, Kong Wah asked her for the truth. The Queen answers that she has never done anything wrong towards Kong Wah or the Empire. Kong Wah wants Xuan to come live in the palace, but the Queen disagree, b/c Xuan is just a maid and is also Han, but Kong Wah answers that the Queen is afraid to not be the queen anymore. It was a really big shock for the Queen. Xuan who has listened to all, can’t stand anymore, and decided to tell the truth : She was raped by the Kong Wah’s father in a hunting trip and give birth to Kong Wah nine months after. The Queen didn’t want Kong Wah to get killed, so she took him in charges and Xuan has sworn to not tell the truth. If it wasn’t for the Queen, mother and son would now be death... Kong Wah apologizes to the Queen, but he still wants his mother to come live in the palace, and the Queen still disagrees. Finally, Xuan cut her hair and become a nun. She is very happy now that Kong Wah knows the truth, she tells him to be a good king, be nice with the Queen and also, released Bobby.

Bobby is released, but he isn’t a cook anymore, so he pack his stuff. Cheung Khanh Ka will be the one replacing him. At house, when he asked where Xuan is, no one answers, it’s only late in the night, that Marianne tells him.

The relation btw the Queen, Kong Wah and NadiaC is now very difficult. Rumors spread in the palace that the King isn’t the Queen’s son and the Queen thinks that NadiaC is the one who started the rumors. Late in the night, one eunuch who passed by, sees bad concubine doing something really strange in her room. Kong Wah and NadiaC tries to find a way to please the Queen. Kong Wah will be leaving soon, for a trip, and NadiaC tell him to buy a gift in which place he goes to the Queen and also, writes to her everyday. B4 leaving, Kong Wah has a gift for NadiaC, it’s a very niece jade ornament. Then, he also asked for a gift that he’ll never lost and is unique, so NadiaC bites him. Kong Wah has just left that the Queen asked to see NadiaC, she wants to punish NadiaC. The Queen told NadiaC that she’ll never become the queen, until she died. « Bad concubine » have put some poison in NadiaC incense, and tells her to give it to the Queen and tells it’s from the King. So NadiaC brings it to the Queen, but when the Queen light it, the poison smelt, and « bad concubine » faints, she also lost her baby. NadiaC becomes the suspect, and the Queen locked her in a room. NadiaC tries to explain herself, she is now suspicious about the « bad concubine », but no one believes her, since the « bad concubine » has lost her baby. The Queen is so stubborn that she thinks everything is all NadiaC’s faults. NadiaC can only wait for Kong Wah’s return, but her maid tells her, that the Queen doesn’t plan to wait until Kong Wah comes back. The maid asks for Bad Concubine help, but she hurt the maid and tell the eunuch to bury the maid. But the maid isn’t dead and got to search for the King. Poison has been found in the maid room, so the Queen order her eunuch to kill NadiaC by suffocating her. The maid finally find Kong Wah, but when Kong Wah arrives, it’s just too late, NadiaC is already dead, holing in her hand the jade ornament. Kong Wah takes her in his arms and leaves the palace, the Queen tries to stop him by telling what NadiaC has supposedly done, but Kong wah didn’t listen to. It’s only few days after that he decided to bury NadiaC. All the ministers are worried, b/c it’s been a while that Kong Wah didn’t come back to the palace, also he doesn’t eat. The Queen has made a new rule : No Han’s girl will become a concubine anymore.

Bobby came to NadiaC funerals, Kong Wah is still very sad, but now, he can named her as his Queen. After talking with Bobby, Kong Wah agrees to go back to the palace.

Happy Ever After 31-35

Opening day of Bobby’s restaurant has arrived and at the same times, it’s the charity’s event. For the charity event, they’ve decided to do kinda an auction, dishes from different country will be put for auction and presented by women dressed as the country. Fiona can’t concentrated herself, Roger hasn’t shown up yet. When Roger finally arrives, a little boy stop him and gives him a letter from Angie. He immediately rushed to the Angie old house and both of them started to drink. Roger is drunk and they’ll spend the night together. When he woke up, he found her trying to hang herself.

Charity event has started and Fiona is still searching for Roger. For the charity event, Kong Wah shows up using another name, but eat in an isolated room, but can still see what is happening in the big room. Marianne injured a lady on purposed and asked Nadia to take the lady place, her plans : making Kong Wah and Nadia fall in love. So Nadia dress up, just like NadiaC did once and introduced her dish. Vinh An is buying every dishes at the auction. It’s finally Nadia’s turn to introduce her dish, and at first, she was wearing a mask, when she takes it out, she sure catches Kong Wah attention : he thought it was NadiaC of course. So Kong Wah and Vinh An are both trying to buy the dish and Kong Wah wins. Vinh An is so upset, that he wants to see who is the one fighting against him, but he didn’t find anyone in the room. Kong Wah is in the garden...

Roger is upset b/c he slept with Angie. Angie tells him that she still has feelings for him. Very complicated. When Roger comes back home, everyone was worried, than it’s Angie turns to come back. Nadia meets Kong Wah. Kong Wah asked her to watch the moon with him and sweet thing like that, but Nadia doesn’t want to. She thinks he is kinda a bad guy, kind a guy who slept with a girl and after left.... When she leaves, Kong Wah can just stare at her.

Marianne made soup for Bobby, but the smell annoy him, making him vomit. Marianne is crazy, couldn’t stop asking him who does he like the most and tells him that she loves him. They end up arguing... the truth is that Marianne is afraid of loosing him.

Kong Wah send a letter to Nadia to apologize. Vinh An has found some orphans and tell them to call Nadia godmother. She does as if she is sick, but Vinh An finds 7 doctors to help her. In the street, she meets Kong Wah and he takes her to a place where she could build an orphanage. They encounter some troubles, but Kong Wah is able to solve everything.

One of the cook in the palace’s kitchen is chased b/c of Cheung Khanh Ka ( the one who has been helping Bobby and his master, not Ho).

Fiona is worried about Roger cos he works a lot, so she comes back home after her meeting with Marianne. Angie wants to sleep with Roger again and Fiona enters in the room right at the moment when the two of them are hugging (actually, Angie hugs Roger and he tries to push her, but is unable). Angie wouldn’t let Roger says anything to Fiona, she takes scissors and tells him she’ll commit suicide. Fiona runs away and goes to Marianne’s house. Roger’s mom is very angry at Angie and even slap Roger. Fiona had took all the blames on her telling it’s b/c she ugly and not educated, etc. Marianne is very angry and tells her to be strong, not weak. Roger comes to apologize, but Marianne doesn’t stop yelling at him. Fiona tells him to leave, so he went outside, and it’s started to rain, Angie appeared and tells him lot’s of nice thing. Her injury bleeds, so Roger takes her back home. Fiona was standing there with an umbrella, she is heart-broken.

Nadia’s father has coming back. He decided to go to Bobby’s restaurant. Kong Wah has a gift for Nadia, it’s the book « Thach Dau Ky », the book she was searching for in the beginning at the serie. He asked her about her dreams, and she answered that she wants to become and heroine, a woman that would help poor people. Next day, Nadia’s dad has to appear in front of the king, but « bad general » tries to ruin Nadia’s father while Vinh An’s father tries to help Nadia’s father. Of course, Kong Wah stand by Nadia’s father side. Vinh An asked for Nadia’s hand.

When Marianne wakes up, Bobby has already left home. His mom is suspicious. Marianne wants to go search for him, but hesitated, she doesn’t know if she has to trust him. Bobby is btw Kong Wah and Nadia passing messages. There’s a date btw Kong Wah and nadia, but Marianne arrives and when he sees him, he says he is waiting for Ho. So Marianne decides to wait with him and she is getting really suspicious. Finally, Ho shows up. As for Nadia and Kong Wah, they have been distributing money all the night to poor people. It’s like if she was realizing her dreams and she begins to have feelings for Kong Wah.

When Nadia comes back home, her wedding with Vinh An is set. She tries to tell her father that she doesn’t want to and run away and go search for Kong Wah. She finally goes to Bobby to ask his help, but Bobby couldn’t tell anything. So she continues to search for him. Vinh An finds her and forces her to go hunting with him, but Kong Wah on a horse, passed by Nadia very quickly and grab her, kinda rescuing her. But Vinh An injured him and it’s start to rain and he lost blood. They went to an cloth’s fabric and dry their clothes (separately of course), but what have to happen happen. After, she is worried a little, b/c of Vinh An cos he is a nice guy an he is the king’s cousin. Then, Kong Wah tells her he is the king and she is really surprised J

When she comes back , Vinh An is waiting, very anxious and they got into an argue. She tells him she won’t marry him and ran to her room, Vinh An thinks it’s his fault. As for Kong Wah, he wants Nadia to become his concubine, but Bobby is worried b/c of the queen. Then Kong Wah tells he has an idea.

Roger is in some troubles b/c of Angie. Roger finally asks Fiona about Angie, he wants Angie to become his 2nd wife, but Fiona refuses and she is categorical. Fiona also tells him, she doesn’t care he if marry a 2nd wife, but anyone besides Angie. Fiona just wants him to leave Angie and he said she is asking for a hard thing and he leaves. Angie kneels in front of the house, but we know it’s just a comedy. Roger swears he’ll marry her and Fiona hear everything. Every women of both Bobby and Roger’s families are mad for her, but Fiona doesn’t say anything.

There’s a dinner to celebrate Roger and Angie and all the men come, but they have all lied to the women.

Kong Wah tries to talk to the Queen about a Han girl, but she isn’t happy. After he has to tell Nadia to wait. She tells him that she has already meet the Queen once, at that time, she didn’t want to meet the king or even marry him, but now it’s different. Kong Wah has to go travel around his country and Nadia is worried that Vinh An will come annoy him, but Kong Wah has his idea : he’ll bring Vinh An with him.

« Bad general » is on business with a stranger. They go to eat at Bobby’s restaurant, but he is quite disappointed and challenged Bobby for a contest. During the contest, Cheung Khanh KA and 2nd son bring kiwi, Bobby can’t stand that smell... But anyway, Bobby still wins.

Nadia maid comes to Bobby and says that Nadia wanna meet him. Then when he sees her, Nadia asked how long the trip of the king is going to last and is there a way to contact the king and asked him to come back earlier : She is pregnant. Bobby asked Roger to help him to transmit the message, he can’t sleep : is too worried.

Roger comes back home and his mother is sick. Their relation is very cold. Marianne is worried, but when she sees Angie, she teased her, cos Angie doesn’t have much money. It’s so funny, b/c Fiona’s personality has grown stronger. But Angie finds a way to get more money.

Bobby and the English guy (the stranger) are now friends and area talking about food.

In the court, every ministers is against the Han ministers.

Bobby went to talk to Nadia, but Marianne saw them. That night, she waited for him.

Kong Wah get very annoyed, b/c Vinh An doesn’t stop talking about Nadia... First time they met, etc. At that moment, he receives Bobby’s message and is so thrilled that he come back right away to the capital. When he comes back, he told Nadia that he wants her to come to the palace, but she doesn’t want to. Finally, Kong Wah comes up with an idea : Bobby will marry Nadia to cover the pregnancy. In the next few days, Bobby is like : I’m a good husband, I love you a lot, etc. Then Kong Wah announced the news to Marianne and gives a yellow outfit to Bobby : meaning no one could hurt him.

When Bobby comes back at home, there’s no one, and he is quit worried about Marianne reactions. When he finds her, she kneels, cries, tells that it’s her fault, but asked him to not abandon her... actually, it’s just a ruse to him to take out the yellow outfit. When he does so, she exploses !

Happy Ever After 35-40

Unfortunately for Nadia, her father soon discovered her pregnancy and has no
choice to tell that Bobby is the father. Her father got very angry, has you can
guessed, and wanted to kill Bobby, but with a very emotional about a mother
raising her kid alone, Bobby kept his life, but Nadia had to become Bobby’s main
wife, b/c Nadia can’t be only a concubine, etc. Also, now, he has to rejected
Vinh An, telling him he can’t marry Nadia... He thought it was his fault so went
to ask what he did wrong and then he also discovered her pregnancy and will try
to kill Bobby too. He went on a roof, in front of Bobby’s restaurant and threw
arrows on Bobby, luckily, he is ok (pretty funny, b/c Bobby does as if he
died... J). As for Marianne, she wants him to run with her, but of course he
can’t, so she starts to think that he really loves Nadia and that’s made her
more angry.

Kong Wah asked Vinh An about the arrows and b/c of this incident, Vinh An
becomes a simple soldier. And that start a big conflict btw his father and
Nadia’s father and it’s become bigger : Han against Manchou.

Roger also has his owns problems. He usually stays with Angie and she complains
that Fiona doesn’t take good care of his mother. His mother is somehow kinda
crazy now and Fiona brought her to Angie’s house so she will take care of
Roger’s mother herself. Roger’s mother causes lots of problems to Angie by
disappearing, running everywhere and disturbing her. One day, the mother
disappears and Fiona has to bring her back to the house, that day, she even
slaps Angie.

It’s wedding day and Bobby tries to do it very secretly, he is afraid of
Marianne, so doesn’t want her to know. But of course, she finds the true and
went to Nadia’s house with a knife and finally ended up begging Nadia to not
marry Bobby, b/c she is pretty she’ll have no problem to find a husband, then
she knees and Nadia does the same : one begging, the other is apologizing...
Bobby has all seen and him and Nadia feel really bad, but they can’t do
anything. When Marianne comes back home, she is very strange, like if nothing
concerned her anymore, as if she has no mind... Then again, she brings up the
idea of running away, but Bobby can’t and then accidentally tells her if she
continues, he’ll kinda divorce. Marianne run away. Kong Wah had to ask Roger to
find a good solution to it.

In the town, everyone now knows about Marianne-Bobby-Nadia’s problems b/c of
the « bad general » and Vinh An’s father (they want to cause bad reputation to
Hans). Half of the population are supporting Nadia, the other half, Marianne.
They even go to court in front of Roger and Roger tries to arrange it really
good as Kong Wah wants and tells that Bobby has to marry Nadia. But then,
Marianne doesn’t agree with Roger and said he has no right to be talking cos he
has giving up Fiona and is living with another woman, so Roger can’t do
anything. Finally, everyone discovers that Nadia is pregnant cos she suffered in
front of the public. Kong Wah has no choice than convoke Marianne and Bobby to
solve the problems. And then Marianne started to insult Kong Wah and the Queen
has heard it all, so she wanna kill Marianne, and Bobby’s spill it all : that
the kid is Kong Wah, he wants to save marianne, so have no choice.

Kong Wah has no choice than tell the true to the Queen and tell he wants Nadia
to come live in the palace, but the Queen refuses, b/c she doesn’t want any
Han’s concubine anymore and she thinks Nadia is a trouble maker, b/c first Bobby
was in love with her, and then Vinh An fall for her and now the king. She even
says that maybe the baby isn’t even Kong wah’s child. But Kong Wah persists and
the Queen tell him that Nadia will only enter the palace the day she dies,
giving no choice to Kong Wah.

Kong Wah is very angry at Bobby and doesn’t want to see him anymore. When he
get out, Bobby is also very angry at Marianne and they start to argue and he
says he’ll better leave her. So this couple has some difficulties.

From the day Fiona slaps her, Angie wants to get revenge : slap her too. So
that day, while Roger’s mom and Fiona were going on shopping, Angie hid Roger’s
mom and then went to talk to Fiona and almost slap her, but Roger’s mom came
back in time to stop Angie and even bite her.

Finally, Marianne and Bobby’s conflict is solve, one day he was drunk, he told
her that he loves her and all... they were at the beach and on their way back
home, they met stealers and both of them ended up tied in the water...

As for Kong Wah, well he has submitted the idea of Nadia coming to the palace
and it’s cause a big conflict too. Then the Queen when to meet Nadia and tells
her about all the problems she has been making and then tells her to follow Vinh
An. B4 leaving, Nadia went to find Bobby and told him where she was going, that
she was leaving the capital. Some times after, Kong Wah learn that Nadia has
disappeared and he is very worried about.

Again, Bobby has offended the Queen and is supposed to be decapitated. But like
usually, he doesn’t get hurt : this time, Roger arrived in time with Kong Wah’s
new orders. Kong Wah is still worried cos he didn’t find Nadia yet. Then the «
bad general » came and tell him they have to kill Bobby. Kong Wah got upset and
asked him who was the king, if they were considering him as a king and also that
the « bad general » should be very occupied, why can’t he stop attacking Bobby
like a dog. He also stated that no one has the right to hurt Bobby.

Somehow, Roger and Fiona relationship has got better and they know understand
each other more. Roger realizes he had missed Fiona a lot and then, he asked her
for a second chance, but Fiona disagree, she didn’t want it... she is now very
strong. As for Kong Wah, he went to talk to Bobby about how he miss Nadia and
when Bobby finally tells him where Nadia is, well Kong Wah was sleeping : drunk.

*there’s a missing part here, dunno what happened, but we skip right to this
scene :

Everyone is at Roger’s house and Roger finally chased Angie, i think she has
stole money from him and lost a lot of money too. She begs for their pity, but
Roger tells her to go b4 he changed of mind and send her to jail. Then she
admits having using medicines to make Roger sleep with her the first night, that
Roger still loves Fiona more. But Roger still chased her. Then, Fiona gives
Roger a big amount of money and left. His mother explained him that Fiona knew
from the beginning Angie’s plans, so she had tried to economize money. Everyone
tell him to run after her, so he does with Bobby, Marianne and 3rd son. They all
asked her to give Roger a last chance and let fate decides. So Fiona throws
lot’s of water in the air, and Roger is supposed to catch some in a bucket, but
he fall stepping on something and got all wet, unfortunately, there’s no water
in his bucket. Then Fiona goes towards him and she wet her scarf with the water
on Roger’s face and then pour it in the bucket... she has agrees to give him a
second chance.

As for Nadia, well Vinh An is willing to raise the child as if it was his, but
Nadia tells him she just followed him b/c she didn’t want Kong Wah to be worried
about her anymore, she didn’t want to cause anymore problems. Then she runs to a
river and wanted to commit a suicide, but Vinh An stopped her. He finally
understood and they have decided to become sworn brother/sister. Bobby
misunderstand Vinh An acts and thought he was annoying Nadia so he hit Vinh An’s
head. They all becomes friends now, b/c they all care for Nadia.

At the court, problems continues. Kong Wah got bored and then, his soldiers had
found Nadia, so he immediately go to see her. She tells him why she left and why
they can’t be together and that night, he had decided to leave the throne and
live with her. In 3 days, they will be together for the rest of their lives. He
gives his eunuche a letter telling he was leaving and all and told him to keep
it. However, the « bad concubine » manages to steal the letter and then, she
poisoned Kong Wah with strange medicines so he would stay with her. He is now
under the medicine so always listen to her... he doesn’t care anymore about
politic, only thinks to play and sleep with the « bad concubine ».

Vinh An heard about the situation and went to investigate. As for Roger’s
family , a good news : Fiona is pregnant. Marianne is a bit jealous since
everyone seems to be pregnant. Then Marianne asked Nadia what did she ate to get
pregnant. Someone has send soldiers to kill Nadia and Vinh An, also Bobby and
Marianne. They all have to run away, and during the fights, Vinh An fall in the
cliff. Hopefully, Nadia, Bobby and Marianne met the English guy who once
challenged Bobby and they found a place to hide.

Fiona got the chickenpox.... Roger tries his best to help her, and stay with
her... they went in their old house and he takes care of her. He followed the
old tradition and baked cake for spirits and the day after, Fiona is going
better...

2nd son has been suspicious about Kong Wah changes... he went to apologize to
Bobby who forgive him right away... Strange thing in the palace : the King will
only eat food that Cheung Khanh Ka will prepare and also, even if there’s food
left, they put it in the garbage... Bobby tries some and then starts to act
really strange so they figure out there’s poison in it... Bobby’s master had
come back with the antidote.. (really strange coincidence J) Only problem, is if
Kong Wah used to much of that poison, he might die... So they asked to the
English man to help then enter the palace, Marianne and Nadia dressed as maid
and Bobby has a Indian’s person... But even after seeing Nadia, Kong Wah doesn’t
remember of anything. Also, Marianne and Nadia got discovered and Marianne
manages to run away. An eunuche saw Nadia and thought it was NadiaC, so tells
the truth and Nadia try to make him talk, than she goes to the Queen and she now
knows everything. Queen now cares for Nadia and the baby, but then the « bad
concubine » comes in and captured them all. Nadia can’t escape b/c of her
pregnancy, but « bad concubine » doesn’t kill her b/c she wants the baby since
she can’t have any. The Queen knows feel a little guilty...

They tried to find a way to rescue Nadia.... It’s now Kong Wah’s b-day and they
have decided to organize a contest btw Han and Manchou’s food. Vinh An shows up
again, he’s still alive. In Bobby’s food, he had put all the medicine need it to
cure the poison in different dishes. Cheung Khanh Ka tries to cheat by using
kiwi’s smell, but it doesn’t work b/c 2nd son has been helping his brother, but
of course, Cheung Khanh Ka notices it after Bobby has won the first round.

The Queen and Nadia are worried for Kong Wah, Cheung Khanh Ka wins the 2nd
round. While preparing the 3rd round, Bobby is affected by the kiwi’s smell and
they have a way to keep him lucid enough to cook his dish, but he might die 2
hours after. They still try.

T he Queen and Nadia are rescued by Vinh An and another concubine. While
Bobby’s dish didn’t work, but he had prepared another dish in case and submit it
to Kong Wah, after eating a bite he started to vomit but soon regains all his
memories when the Queen and Nadia arrives, but 2 hours had passed and bobby had
fainted. They try to rescue Bobby but are unable to see any reaction, so
Marianne asked a glass of poison to die with Bobby. While she dies, Bobby’s wake
up...

Last scene : you see Bobby with 3 children and Marianne arrives with 2 more
babies and you could see she is pregnant. Bobby asked what poison Kong Wah has
given to her to be so productive... Only thing you know is that Nadia has become
a concubine and lives with Kong Wah and it’s the end...
