I think out of all the ATV series that I have seen, this is one of the better ones. With the exception of the first case and a fairly slow start, this series was very exciting, especially the last few episodes. This series talks about the lives of 5 Interpol (Kwok Jai Ying Ging) members...

Case 1: Japan- mafia/underworld
Eddie and Sheren are the main focus of this case. A Japanese gang leader has commited numerous murders in Hong Kong. Eddie and Sheren are responsible for bringing this criminal back to Japan. However, once in Japan, this guy is in his own territory and his gang rescues him. Eddie and Sheren help the Japanese police catch the criminal again, even though the Japanese investigators are reluctant to have them help. Eddie meets up again with a beautiful Japanese woman played by Kristy Yang that he met in Hong Kong. She happens to be the daughter of the head of the Japanese mafia. Because they are on opposite sides, their relationship does not work out. In the end, Eddie finds out that she was (sort of) using him to get rid of the Japanese criminal that he brought back. As in the real world (not), the cops overcome the criminals. The criminal dies and Eddie and Sheren head back to Hong Kong.

Case 2: Thailand- drug dealer
Lam Wai Sun and Alex are the cops in charge of this case. Interpol finds out that a drug dealer, "Kwun Ching" (his name in the series), is in Hong Kong so they expect trouble. They receive news that Kwun Ching is in the hospital visiting his younger brother so they try to capture him. However, he escapes despite the fact the Interpol had the whole hospital surrounded. "Kwun Ching" has two motives for being in Hong Kong: first, he's here to buy medication, and secondly, he wants to kill a Hong Kong drug dealer. Interpol tries to watch carefully over the Chinese drug dealer that he wants to kill but "Kwun Ching" still manages to kill him. Next, Interpol watch carefully over the medication that he is trying to buy. After a long and exciting car chase, they manage to capture him. Lam Wai Sun and Alex are responsible for bringing this criminal back to Thailand. In Thailand, he gets away, but Lam Wai Sun is still chasing him. Apparently, "Kwun Ching" is not the type of person that Lam Wai Sun expected him to be. While Lam Wai Sun is chasing "Kwun Ching", "Kwun Ching's enemies show up with machine guns and try to kill him. Lam Wai Sun gets shot and instead of leaving him to die, "Kwun Ching" saves him and brings him back to his village (His village is in a very secluded area on top of the mountains. The Thailand police have been searching for his village for many years but they still do not know the exact location.) Meanwhile, Alex is with the Thailand police, trying to find Lam Wai Sun. It's quite funny because Alex hates living in the wilderness but because he has to find Lam Wai Sun, he's forced to live without what he calls the "neccessities of life". Later, Lam Wai Sun recovers and he realizes what a peaceful area "Kwun Ching's" village is. The villagers grow drugs because it is their only way of survival. Many other foods won't grow here. In addition, the money from selling the drugs goes to research and buying medication for a disease that is common among the village. Because of this, Lam Wai Sun does not know what to do. Later "Kwun Ching" brings him back to the city. He doesn't reveal where the village is. However, the police soon find out and get an army to destroy this village. The village is wiped out and "Kwun Ching" dies. Lam Wai Sun is sad because this was one of the few instances where he couldn't decide whether the criminal was truly evil.

Case 3: Taiwan- underworld

Damian Lau Sung Yun (a Taiwan cop) gets together with Sheren Tang and Eddie Kwan in Taiwan to capture a criminal who is running for office.

Case 4: Hong Kong- counterfeit money

One of Ng Yuk Sau's friends works in the film industry making props and he's very gifted in making counterfeit money. Kent Tong happens to notice this and backmails him to make counterfeit money. Meanwhile HK is in chaos because all this fake money has been released in the market. Ng Yuk Sau overcomes his friendship and captures his friend.

Case 5: Hong Kong- murder story
This was my favorite case in the entire series. Sheren and Lau Sung Yun and another female-add-in were in charge of the case. It was very scary. What happened was there were a series of murder cases which were taking place in Hong Kong and the cops couldn't find any clues except that all the bodies had some sort of heiroglyphic writing on their chest. The cops believed that this writing had to do with a certain religion which was very popular about 20 some years ago. The weird thing that was taking place was that the female cop was having dreams about the murders and in one of her dreams, she saw a body being buried. Later that night, she walked out of her house and went to find the body she saw from her dreams. And she ended up digging up the bones of a body from over 20 years ago. She also dreamed of another body being hidden behind bricks and the cops found that body too. CREEPY...This female cop was also having hallucinations about the murderer and the murders taking place. After much investigation, the police found the murderer from 20 years ago and guess who it was? It was the female cop's father. Apparently, this female cop grew up in an orphanage and never knew who her parents were. The killer from 20 years ago was her dad. And the reason why she knew where the bodies were was because of some phenomenom where this type of "murderous behavior was hereditary". Later, it was revealed that she was, in fact, the murderess of the present and that was why she could picture all the current murders taking place. She later went crazy. She also killed Lau Sung Yun, Sheren's boyfriend.

Case 6: China- drug dealers

Eddie Kwan and Alex Fong head over to China where they try to capture a bunch of drug dealers. Eddie goes undercover and finds out that one person from the gang that he's with is actually an undercover cop also (but this guy is a China cop). The two become friends and work together to capture the villians.

Meanwhile, Alex has to work with a female inspector in China and they later fall in love. These 2 help Eddie and the other undercover cop.

Sheren rushes to China after finding out that Eddie is in danger. She and Eddie and slowly fallen in love.

Case 7: Hong Kong- US soldiers from the Vietnam War left behind a lot of gold. These war veterans were seeking out a Vietnamese person whom they believed knew where the gold was hidden

A member of the FBI comes to HK to help locate the American war veterans involved in illegal dealings. These war veterans are smart and have a lot of ammunition on hand. In one part, they bombed the Interpol police station and rescued their members who were caught. The only witness is Ng Yuk Sau's daughter "Wing Kei" who recognized a butterfly tattoo on the soldiers. After much investigation, it was revealed that the FBI member was actually involved and he killed Ng Yuk Sau after he found out the truth. He was finally captured and the Interpol team was sad that a loyal member was gone.

Case 8: Hong Kong- Telecommunications building in Hong Kong was under seige.

Eddie and Sheren have drifted apart after Eddie realizes that his diabetes has taken a turn for the worse and that he might die.

From the earlier Thailand case, "Kwun Ching's" twin brother has arrived in HK and has plans of hacking a company's system to access the Asian stock market to make money. Sheren and the China cop from the previous case are in the building and they are trying to hide so that they can rescue the hostages.

Alex, Eddie, and Gilbert try to help them and the Special Duties Unit (SDU--otherwise known as Fei Fu Dui) are sent in to control the moment but their men who are sent in to the building are all killed. The Interpol head takes charges and leads the members of Interpol into the building.

Interpol saves the hostages. Gilbert, who has perfect shooting capabilities, is able to shoot across the building, killing some of the guards. Alex sneaks into the building and kills a lot of men. While Eddie and Sheren are together trying to rescue the hostages.

The villian is killed in the end in what I thought was the most captivating, exciting case...it was more like a Hollywood movie =)

Sheren and Eddie are together at the end.
