This series is about the "Hoi Kwan" dept in Hong Kong which investigates illegal activities such as preventing the entry and sales of illegal items. The series starts off in the airport with Wong Hei. He's the inspector of the airport branch of the "hoi kwan" and he suspects someone of carrying drugs. After further investigation, the person is found guilty.

Wong Hei lives with his mom. He never met his dad before. His dad left his mom before he was born.

He's soon tranferred to another dept of the "hoi kwan" which actually investigates cases. He's transferred to Bobby's dept. Bobby's a very hard-working cop who's puts a lot of effort and time into his job. Because he was so hard-working, he didn't spend as much time with his fiance. One time, he was out on a case and he had to hand in his beeper. When he checked his beeper later on, he found out that his fiance was in the hospital and that she was really sick and she died before he got there. Because of this incident, Bobby always felt really guilty.

Initally, Wong Hei and Bobby had some misunderstandings but they soon worked things out and were good partners. Helina was an attorney who worked in the "hoi kwan". Wong Hei liked her but she already had a boyfriend, Hoi Jun Kit. Hoi Jun Kit was a cop but he was a bad cop who rushed things too much. Later, Helina broke up with him because of their differences and went out with Wong Hei.

Marianne was the funniest character in this series. She owns a small gift shop which sells imitation CDs and videos. Therefore, Bobby was investigating her. She's a good person though. She has a younger sister and a stepdad to take care of so she's really miserly. One part of the series had me laughing soooo hard...a little boy stole a CD from her store so she started chasing him up all these flights of stairs...Bobby and his teammate was wondering what was happening and thought that he'd help her so he and his teammate started up the stairs also. There were like a couple hundred steps and they were all sooo tired. Finally, the kid stops and he's like will you stop chasing me? Marianne responds, "then stop running!" Bobby and his teammate were panting and out of breath and they had to sit and rest. Finally, the kid gave up and threw her the CD back. Marianne heads back down the steps but she faints because she's so tired. So Bobby and his teammate are trying to resisitate her. His teammate suggests mouth-to-mouth, but Bobby was like , yeah right. Then Marianne wakes up, sees them hovering over her, and she thinks they're perverts. It was so hilarious.

Marianne later realizes that Bobby is actually a nice guy and they start to fall for each other. It was so cute. He told her he liked her hair down so she left it down from then on =)

The later part of the series was really exciting. Wong Hei and Helina have some misunderstandings so they separate for a while. He goes undercover and no one on his team knows this. Anyways, one time Bobby and the rest of the team were chasing the bad guys and Wong Hei was there. Wong Hei was forced to shoot Bobby (but he knew that Bobby had a ring case in his shirt pocket so he shot him there). Bobby ended up in the hospital and everyone misunderstood Wong Hei but Bobby realized that something was wrong...ie. He knew Wong Hei was trying to save him by shooting him where his pocket was. To make things short, the bad guys were caught at the end and Wong Hei resumed his position as the inspector of their team. He also made up with Helina. Bobby and Marianne got married at the end of the series and their wedding was really cute=)

I didn't really want to rent this series when I first saw the commercial because when this tape came out, I'd never even heard of Wong Hei or Helina before and Bobby wasn't that popular yet. It wasn't a really good series or anything, just mediocre. Wong Hei and Bobby weren't their usual funny selves.
