Let me start off by saying that the Larry Sanders Show rocks, esp. at 3 AM when any sane person is asleep or otherwise engaged in non-TV activities. The episode with Melinda in it was no exception. She played Larry's girlfriend Alex Markham, a somewhat nasty and manipulative woman who was using Larry to become a TV star. (This plot could have been stretched out a bit longer, it felt rushed). Probably the most outright not-good character she's ever played. She does bad very well for someone usually cast in good guy parts. More Villain!Melinda in the future, please, oh mighty casting spirits!
