- House of Frankenstein: as Maggie, a detective who was willing to believe that supernatural forces were afoot and helped to defeat the vampires in the climactic battle. (TV movie, 1997)
- Commercial: Melinda does the voiceover for the Oldsmobile Silhouette commercial. (1997)
- Albino Alligator: as Jenny Ferguson, an eager-for-a-story reporter. (movie, 1997)
- Soul Man: as Bridgette Collins, the reporter with more than a passing interest in Dan Aykroyd's widower priest character. She appeared in every one of the first block of episodes. (1997)
- Larry Sanders: as Larry's girlfriend, Alexis Markham, who was using Larry to get into show business, in the episode Larry's New Love. (1997)
- The Pursuit of Happiness: as Mackenzie Rutledge, an out of work graphic artist struggling to juggle her career and her family. (1996)
- Cybill: as a recovering alcoholic/Ira's girlfriend. (1996)
- The X-Files: as Melissa, Scully's sister. This character appeared four times- in the second season episode One Breath, in the first two episodes of the third season, The Blessing Way and Paper Clip, and in the fifth season episode Christmas Carol. Melissa was shot and killed by an assassin who mistook her for her sister. (One Breath - 1994, The Blessing Way - 1995, Christmas Carol - 1997)
- The Human Factor: as Rebecca Travis. (1992)
- Seinfeld: as Angela, the hit and run driver and, briefly, Jerry's girlfriend, in the episode The Good Samaritan. Last seen threatening to maim Jerry if he told anyone about the accident she caused. (1992)
- The Commish: as Cyd Madison, Chief of Detectives, she appeared in two seasons as the second ranking officer on the East Bridge Police Department before accepting the job of Commissioner in nearby Oak Port. (1992-1994)

- Quantum Leap: as Salvation Army Captain Laura Downie, trying to save a homeless shelter from being torn down and developed by greedy businessman Michael Blake, in the episode A Little Miracle. (1990)
- The Big Knife: as Dixie. This American Playhouse production included Melinda's very first on-screen kiss, with Peter Gallagher. (1988)
