Soul Man - aka the Show From the Ninth Pit of Hell.
Okay, it's not THAT bad. But I am royally irritated at this Dan Akroyd comeback vehicle for just writing Melinda out. One episode she's there, more or less Dan's girlfriend, then she's gone. Were we not supposed to notice? At least Carter gave us SOME closure. I blame - well, the entire Hollywood system. Melinda's character was the only reason to watch this otherwise miserable example of 90s 'comedy'. Great chemistry with Dan Akroyd and an interesting character with lots of storyline potential were tossed aside inbetween episodes, leaving us with...To be honest, I'm not sure what happened next, since I stopped watching after Melinda's last episode. But it probably sucked.
