Synopsis:John N. Smith directs this drama about a part-time lawyer (Vince
Vaughn) who, along with his 4-year old son, is abandoned by his wife
(Monica Potter). The father and son move to rural Kansas, where the
lawyer falls in love with another woman (Joey Lauren Adams). Soon, his
