Card Captors

Card Captors originally was a manga (Japanese comic) in NAKAYOSI. (a very popular comic book in Japan) Card Captor Sakura (what it's called in Japan) is extremely popular. My cousin absolutely loves it! The storyline is based on a girl named Sakura who goes to her father's library and finds a book labeled "Clow." The book contains many "Clow Cards" but they seemingly got scattered all over the place, causing havoc and disruption. If Kero-chan the watcher did not fall asleep, the cards would not have gotten lost. Kero-chan gives Sakura the job of the "Card Captor" to capture all the lost cards with the help of her best friend, Tomoyo. (and she also has a beautiful singing voice!) So later on in time, the two are frantically finding the cards around the world. Sakura also was given a key and whenever she said "release" it would grow into a long rod. Once Sakura does gather all the cards, she is then tested to see if she become a mistress. The punishment is if she fails the test, she won't be able to remember the people who were close to her...

The manga itself was done by a cartoonist known as CLAMP, who draws beautiful manga art and has excellent quality! If there are any comics by CLAMP where you live, it sure won't be a waste to purchase a comic of beautiful art, wouldn't it?

Anyways! There are various cards that Sakura needs to collect and they al stand for various things, such as Jump or Fly. Once Card Captor Sakura became very popular as a manga, sooner or later, this popular comic became real live anime on the television. In Japan, you can get many Card Captors merchandise including of, keychains, dolls, cards, and many many more!
