Ghost of Maiden's Peak

The ferry that our heroes were sailing on docks off at a place celebrating their Summer's End Festival. The legend that this place was famous for was about a maiden waiting for her love for so long, but he never returned and the maiden turns into stone. Meanwhile, Brock actually does see the girl (maiden) and Brock style, he instantly falls in love with her! (ahhh, things never change!) Team Rocket is up to their scenes again and James sees the same maiden Brock saw and he also falls in love with her. The two are hypnotized. An old woman shows up and explains that no body should fall in love with the maiden, as all she will cause is doom. Later, the secrets are revealed once the maiden is really a Gastly who came to town to cause havoc. The Gastly challenges everyone to a battle, but Ash and his friends are not able to defeat it's radient powers. The only thing that made Gastly leave was the appearance of the sun. The mischieveous ghost Pokemon promises it will return next year to cause more havoc.
