Ash and Misty are off to Pewter City, until a samurai gets in their way. (just as Ash was going to catch a Weedle)He was looking for trainers from Pewter city. And Ash was his victim. He demands a battle, and it was against Metapod and Pinsir. Ash beats him. Next battle is Metapod vs Metapod... which is the most boringest battle of all. And Piakchu and Misty are taking a sun bath! The battle is over because or boredom. Sooner or later a swarm of Beedrills come swarming in, and attacking the gang. The Weedle must have warned it's kind of trainers in the forest. A Beedrill grabs Ash's Metapod, and flys of with it. Ash is totally shocked, but he was dragged into Samurai's cabin with Misty for protection. The next day, Ash goes outside to find his Metapod, and he does find it, only a herd of Kakuna's were surrounding it. But then, plans get even worse. Team Rocket blasts in, causing the Kakuna's to wake up. And then, even WORSE, the Kakuna's turn into Beedrills, chasing them off again. Ash runs to Metapod.. "I didn't abandon you Metapod..." he cries, as he grabs it and runs. Ash saw a Beedrill coming his way, but Metapod protected Ash, and as it slowly evolved in Butterfree........
