Rockers Jet Set Satellite
To Open For Punkers Goldfinger
By: Debbie Bento
Talk about opening up for some pretty cool
bands... first the Stereophonics, then Bif
Naked and now you can slot Goldfinger onto
that list as well.
Nettwerk recording artists Jet Set Satellite
have just been confirmed to open for those
ska-punkers in London, Ontario. The show
will take place Monday, July 3 at The
Embassy.
The band has been on a whirlwind ride
touring Canada since the release of their
debut album, Blueprint, with good things constantly coming their way,
including this new Goldfinger gig. "It's just down to us being at the right
place at the right time," says Jet Set frontman Trevor Tuminski. "It's
been like that since the beginning."
Tickets are $12 and available at Dr. Disc in London, as well as at the
venue. But hurry up and get your tickets, as the show is close to being
sold out.
Jet Set Satellite's second single and video for "Baby Cool Your Jets" are
out now. Jet Set Satellite will be doing a number of concerts in Ontario
beginning later this month, which includes a solid slot on the side stage
at Edgefest in Barrie on Canada Day alongside other artists like
Nickleback, j englishman and The Flashing Lights.
