OUR MISSION
Holy Spirit Parish initiates believers into Christ's life by teaching Christ's saving doctrine, by its sacramental life, by practicing the charity of the Lord in good works and love, and by promoting social justice. Furthermore, the parish makes every effort to bring the gospel to those who do not believe or have ceased to practice the Catholic faith.

MARRIAGE - Contact the rectory 6 months prior to anticipated date and arrange for preparation

BAPTISM - Contact us and remember at least one sponsor must be a practicing Catholic.

STEWARDSHIP - Giving in accord with real abilities and from the heart full of gratitude is what stewardship is all about.  Holy Spirit Church encourages all families and individuals to give generously through the weekly envelope.  The funding necessary to operate the parish comes from the weekly collection.

Welcome
to our Website

Just as living parishes are not stagnant places, by necessity this website is always a work under construction.
However, I do hope that you will find some of the information here useful in your consideration of the parish.  If you are a  parishioner, please feel free to send us helpful advice and materials you think should be included here.  If you are new or looking for a church, consider making HOLY SPIRIT your parish home.  We are a commmunity of believers that embrace both our Roman Catholic faith and our common brotherhood (and sisterhood) with our neighbors.

We profess our Savior Jesus Christ in authentic worship, heartfelt prayer, and charitable service.  As Roman Catholics, we need to live our faith courgeously without compromise.  Christ established our Church, gave us priestly ministers with Apostolic authority, and the seven sacraments of life.  At the center of our discipleship, we have been entrusted with the EUCHARIST.  No true believer should ever relinquish the sacrifice of the Mass (Calvary re-presented in an unbloody fashion) and the REAL PRESENCE of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.  This same Jesus is GOD!  This is our FAITH!  This is what it means to be a CATHOLIC!  We need not look elsewhere.

May God use us in calling our prodigal  brothers and sisters back to the SAFE HARBOR of CATHOLIC FAITH.

Peace be with you,
Fr. Joe Jenkins
