A Body Never Found

So it seems
That you forget
This product on your hands
It seems you still
Dance and breathe
While memory suggests
I die
As my colours fade
You dominate the light
Remove from me a scenery
So I cannot grow
And while I sleep
You whisper sweet
That I shall be alright
Like your shapes can't make mistakes
But I see behind these scenes
Your bones and blinds drawn down
A taste that never dies
Break myself each time I try
And wrestle in your web
Untie the knots that keep us bound
Lying still a flood in tears
A body never found
To hurt again
To make pretend in foolishness
I give to you
All I went without.
