Jewellery Box Music

Turn off my jewellery box music

Sometimes you didn't know she was around

She never made a sound

So you didn't have to go out to work

With war in the kitchen

Wished to hear your beautiful instinct

But The blood had blame

Your third element

Burning in silence

She never made a sound I heard

While she requested locks

But it's okay because you couldn't find the time

Or find the energy

The scream of toy machinery Was comforting enough

So she'd sit quietly Just listening

And watching your maternal ghost

Too busy praying

To nurture and protect you

This is our circuitry

The conditioning didn't work this time

Lets take another step toward loosing each other for ever

She never made a sound

Have I been left here alone again?

No-one responds to little voices

But she asks someone that see's

Where am I on our map darling?

I never want to stop being you

The dying tree that has always bought life to me

Leave me straws to clutch at

Wish I was your umbilical cord

Look at how they're about to rip us into pieces

And we  can only sit and wait

This is our circuitry
