Ultra-Loc Metal Roofing System:
ADVANTAGES:
Ultra-Loc panels make exposed fastening systems obsolete
Ultra-Loc panels fasten securely to any structure. Each panel snaps securely over the adjacent panel concealing unsightly screw heads or nails. This creates a smooth architecturally pleasing look.
Ultra-Loc features an anti-siphon groove designed to prevent water from entering the side lap of the panel.
Ultra-Loc creates an aesthetically pleasing and economical design.
MATERIAL:
Ultra-Loc is roll formed from high tensile quality material
Ultra-Loc is produced in standard 29 gauge high tensile grade E material (ASTM A445 80,000 psi)
26 gauge material is available upon special request
Ultra-Loc is available in eight (8) standard pre-painted contemporary colors.
SPECIFICATIONS:
Ultra-Loc panels are roll formed in lengths from 3 to 35 feet. For length longer than 35 feet, please inquire.
Ultra-Loc has a coverage of 16" o.c. Side lap fasteners should be spaced approximately 24" o.c. under normal conditions with a #9 x 1" flat wafer head screw.
In high wind areas, screws @ 12" or 18" o.c. are recommended
Ultra-Loc panels have a rib height of 1"
INSTALLATION:
Ultra-Loc panels may be installed over wood purlins or solid CDX plywood sheathing. (See loading tables for spacing)
Ultr-Loc does not need a seaming tool. The panels are fastened along the leading edge of the sheet with the proper screws at 18" to 24" o.c.
Ultra-Loc does not require any clips or washers. Just snap and go.
Screws must fasten into a min 5/8" wood sub framing, or CDX plywood (min.1/2"). Chip board material is not acceptable as a load resistant material.
Due to Mill tolerances, waviness or oil canning may occur. This condition will not be a cause for rejection
For end lapping conditions, alternate sheet length staggering is required to eliminate material buildup at lap edge.
