Basically the HK MP5 chambered for the 5.56mm round. Has seen some
use with "The Regiment", more commonly known as the British SAS. |
| Realism: |
Poor - Heavier than it should be. Hard to believe the AKSU-74 can mount
a grenade launcher but the MP53 can’t, despite the fact I’ve seen it with
a 40mm launcher mounted before. Also, the HK MP53 uses a 25 round magazine,
although it is not unreasonable that an after-market 30 round magazine
would be available for it. |

Short bursts, heavy, and few attachments. There are better SMGs and
Carbines with just as much firepower available. |
