As the successor to the Tommy Gun, this weapon became very popular
on the streets of prohibition-Chicago and the Beaches of Normandy. |
| General Info |
The M1A1 is a departure from the older Tommy Guns favored by the criminal
element during Prohibition. A classic weapon of World War II, the M1A1
can still be seen in use by Third World law enforcement personnel in Asia
as well as guerrilla troops in the same areas. |
| Realism: |
Decent - I suppose any weapon can be fitted with a silencer with modern
technology, but is anyone else having a hard time picturing that with this
weapon? I also think the game description lacks some historical accuracy,
most of those references apply to the Thompson M1928A1. |
| Notes: |
Heavy and a bit slow firing. Good if you don’t have any full-auto weapons,
but easily replaced by more modern weaponry. |
