After coming through the door, you find a courtyard. Cobblestone paths meander through the open space, circling gardens and fountains, crossing over streams and under pine trees. Flowers of many kinds blossom in the gardens, tended by a young woman dressed in green.
In the northeast corner of the courtyard stands a tall tower. Looking up at the tower, you see several dwarves at work. They have been recruited to aid in the construction of the tower, which is not quite finished. The dwarves seem to sway in the wind, and one wonders how they are able to keep their balance as they work.
Several doors open into the courtyard. One leads into the northeast tower. Another door, to the south, stands slightly ajar. You can see shelves full of books beyond that door, so you reason that it must lead to the Keep's library. A third door is in the wall of the tower to the southwest, but it's shut so you can't see where it leads. To the northwest, you can see that the courtyard circles around the southwest tower, but the dwarves have blocked it off while they work on the northeastern tower, so you can't go that way.
Enter the northeast tower.
