The scroll has been unrolled on the table, and the top and bottom are held by heavy books th prevent the scroll from rolling up. There is an inkwell on the table, complete with a quill pen resting in it. There is fresh ink on the scroll, so you assume that whoever was writing on the scroll had to leave in a hurry, and didn't finish. Looking closer, you read the scroll. It appears to be a history of Catlia Keep.
There the writing ends, although it might be finished another day.
Catlia Keep was first created in the summer of 1997, after The CyberKnight enjoyed exploring the Realms of the Great Web, which was composed of Sir Anthony's Realm, the Iconolog, and the Village of Pineville and their surrounding areas at that time. The construction of the Keep was slow, and the Keep did not become an official part of the Realms until October of that year. The dwarves were friendly enough to help in the construction of the Keep, and this helped speed things along.Once, the Keep was divided into two separate realms, The Icon Tower and the main portion of the Keep. This proved difficult for further construction, so the two sections were combined, using powerful magics, on the site of the Icon Tower's construction. Shortly after, The CyberKnight found that he had the ability to open portals that lead to different areas. Some went to areas of the Keep, while others went to places in the Multi-Dimensions, and outside of the Realms of the Great Web. Thus was born the Portal Room, and other areas of Catlia Keep.
Catlia Keep stands in the Mountains of Madness, as a safe haven from the dangers that lurk in the Mountians. Ogres, evil wizards, and other foul creatures roamed the Mountains unchecked until construction of the Keep began. The Mountains are aptly named; one can easily go insane in their twisting paths. Catlia Keep is a refuge for travellers of the Realms that venture into the Mountians. Much of the Mountains remains unexplored at this time, and there are constant landslides, which seal off the passage ways through the Mountains.
