  RECIPE #01 EVERYTHING

Here's a recipe for spraying everything in the yard. 1 can beer, 1C
childrens shampoo, liquid soap, 1C liquid lawn food, 1 oz liquid seaweed,
1/2C molasses. Put into a 20 gallon hose end sprayer, fill remainder with
ammonia to fill jar. Use on trees, flowers, grass, shrubs, every 3 wks.
Helps soil to release nutrients, develops beneficial bacterial action,
ammonia is released into the air immediately and absorbed as a gas, beer
starts enzyme activity, soap is a bug deterrent & antisurfactant. Every 3
wks. Covers 2500 sq ft. Can be used at all times if you prefer.

**Alternative for beer: Make a paste of vegetable scraps in blender.
These can be cooked or raw. Put into a gallon milk container, fill with
water. Put outdoors in a really hot sunny hot spot until its really
fermented with lid loose or off. This will take about a wk. Use juice at a
rate of 2T per gallon in any of the recipes in place of whiskey or beer.

and use in place of fertilizers.

   RECIPE #03 ANNUALS

neglected, ask for a reduced price, then take them home and pour into a
tray this solution.
Into 2 gallons warm water add:
4 T instant tea 3 T epsom salts 2 T hydrogen peroxide 3 T household
ammonia Put the sick little packets of annuals in and soak for 20 minutes.
Put them in a protected area in the shade for the rest of the day and
overnight. Next morning plant them. Top pruning is good and loosen the
roots.

 RECIPE #06 VEGETABLE INSECT

earth (DE) on foliage and soil.
Another is to cover soil with 1 layer of newspaper and 4-6" of grass
clippings.

 RECIPE #08 BUGS/DISEASE

Wash your flower gardens once a week late in the evening with:
1/2 oz liquid dish soap 1/2 oz. brown mouthwash like listerine per gallon
of water. this will discourage insects and disease.

 RECIPE #09 SPIDERMITE

For Spidermites use: 1/2C buttermilk with 4 C unprocessed wheat flour, add
5 gallons of water. This destroys most of the mites and eggs. Leave on
until bugs are gone. Unprocessed wheat flour can be obtained from health
food stores if not in your local grocery store. Another way is to make a
tea with cedar shavings or sawdust and spray... Let it shavings or sawdust
soak for a couple hrs then strain liquid and let sawdust or shavings dry
and sprinkle in garden then spray that.. This keeps away squash bugs,
mexican bean beetles, red spidermites, mealy bugs and cucumber
beetles...or you can work shavings into the soil.

  RECIPE #10 ANIMAL REPELLENT

   1      gal           Water
   2      tbsp          Tabasco
2      tbsp          Onion -- finely chopped
2      tbsp          Garlic -- finely chopped
   2                    Eggs

Shake well. Let set overnight. Paint on property lines or around base of
trees.. When you open the container aim away from the face... It smells
bad. I would not recommend making up anymore than you think you might be
able to use at one time... Label the container to reuse for making this
recipe like an old milk jug...
