Ninja Scroll is a story developed in feudal Japan around the 16th century. Jubei Kibagami, a masterless, noble heart ninja who wanders around Japan hiring his services to those who will pay him with gold. A set that had for purpose to put down the Tokugawa goverment was planned.

Shimoda village was affected by a contagious disease and every one died. The Local Lord send his best group of ninjas to find out what is happening. When they are in their mission all are killed except for a beautiful ninja girl. But she was trapped by a rock-skin monster, known as Tessai, which takes her where he lives. While the ninja girl is unconcient the monster do bad things to her. A stanger suddenly appears and interrupts him. Tessai gets annoyed, in that moment the ninja girl tries to hit Tessai but, it is useless. The stranger wounded Tessai in one eye and saves the ninja girl.

Both were able to escape and they reached a creek with fireflies. "Who was he, that devil back there? Nevermind, I don't really want to meed him again." "I'm grateful to you. I'm Kagero of the Koga ninja team." "My name is Jubei, Jubei Kibagami. Are you certain you're alright?" "I'm not in danger anymore. Kibio is west of here. I must go now."

Jubei meets later an old spy of the goverment, Dakuwan, who poisons him in his mission to obligate him to do what he wants to do. With the help of Kagero and Dakuwan, Jubei go through out the mission and accomplish it...

Jubei Kibagami: A masterless, noble heart ninja. He is the star of the movie.
Kagero: A beautiful ninja girl that can poison anyone that touches her.
Dakuwan: An old spy of the government that is looking for gold.
Hanza: Leader of the Koga ninja team.
Chamberlain: Lord of the village and of the ninjas.
Gemma: Leader of the eight devils of Timon. He has the strange ability to reincarte.
Tessai: rock-skin monster with a semi-blade sword.
Benisato: a woman with the ability to control snakes and pythons. She can also act like one.
Mushizo: A monster that has a humbback that is a bee hive and he can control bees and wasps.
Utsutsu Mujuro: A blind man whose sword skills are almost good as Jubei's.
Shijima: he is recognized by his deadful claw. He can hide in the shadows and hipnotize people.
Sakuro: a woman with the ability to blow up things with gunpowder.
Yurimaru: a man that is attracted to his boss. He has a nice way of electrocutating his prays, he can teleport and is an expert using wires.
