The Connect bus
service at Carnforth, celebrated its first birthday on Friday Mar 28.
Amongst the dignitaries attending the celebrations were Geraldine Smith MP, Councillor
Jean Yates, Carnforth Mayor George Birkett and David Horton from the Countryside Agency,
plus a host of other guest.
The service has proved to be a huge success, not just with locals but other transport
users from the rural areas.
Since its launch twelve months ago the services has just reached a total of 30,000 users.Carnforth Journal. |
