Victorian Lace Potpourri 2 Cups pink or red rose petals 1 Cup red or pink globe amaranth 1 Cup pink rose buds 1 Cup lavender buds 2 Cups rose-scented geranium leaves 2 Cups white German statice flowers, seperated into small bunches 1 Cup Oak Moss 6 drops Rose Oil 5 drops lavender oil You may wish to add the rose buds after everything is mixed in. They are very delicate and tend to break apart if mixed in without care. Cut lace edging into 1/2 - 1 in. strips, and add the potpourri along with strips of red or pink ribbon. *********************************************************************** Old English Garden Potpourri 1 Cup red rose petals 1 Cup dark-pink rose petals 1/2 Cup Chamomile flowers 1 Cup broken-up cockscomb in red or pink 1 Cup blue or purplw larkspur flowers 1/2 Cup hollyhock flowers (dark shades) 1/2 Cup chicory or borage flowers 1 Cup baby's breath 1 Cup oak moss 6 drops rose oil 6 drops honeysuckle oil This potpourri makes a great presentation on it's own, though whole rose petals, ribbons, or non-metallic confetti can be added. ********************************************************************** Sunshine Potpourri 1 Cup calendula petals (removed from the flower) 2 Cups scented geranium flowers (citrus or fruit scented) 1 Cup yellow or red-and-yellow yarrow flowers 1/2 Cup chamomile flowers 1/2 Cup tansy flowers 1 Cup coins from a money plant 1/2 Cup Orris root 6 drops Jasmine oil 3 drops honeysuckle oil Add the money plant coins right before presentation, as they are very delicate and can break up easily.
