Mission 5: Royal Seas

As fuel prices rise worldwide, American representatives seek to improve relations with leaders of major fossil fuel countries. In a sign of goodwill, the U.S. government has invited the Prince of Bolovia---heir to the throne of this oil-rich country---to enjoy a week of relaxation aboard the American luxury cruiser Prometheus. The seven day cruise will take Prince Vakuu throughout the Mediterranean; at the end of the trip, the Prince will dock in Florida, where he will meet with other world leaders for a 2-day energy conference.

Information sources believe that several terrorist organizations are seeking to kidnap the Prince while he is aboard the Prometheus, thereby gaining control of a huge percentage of the world's oil supply. As a result, the Joes have been ordered to assemble a team to guard Prince Vakuu. The American government doesn't want the Prince to panic, meaning that the Joe team selected will need to work undercover while onboard.

Key objectives:

  • select a team to "blend in" while onboard the ship
  • protect Prince Vakuu and the Prometheus from possible terrorist attack
  • get the Prince to his Florida meeting
