The second of Guardians of Order's licensed RPGs. Dominion Tank Police, based on the anime of the same name by legendary artist Masamune Shirow was published in July 1999. It, in the tradition of the Sailor Moon RPG, featured a large section on the background of the series as well as on how the series could be adapted for role playing and derived from for totally new storylines. Summaries of the series were given and the book featured a color art section.
With a heave emphasize on mecah, the book made use of and republished parts of the rules found in Big Robots Cool Starships and helped further define mecha rules for the Big Eyes Small Mouth game. Dominion Tank Police proved that Big Eyes Small Mouth, despite it's simplistic nature, could not only handle complicated and detailed mecha, but handle them well. While the details were not on the level of something like Battle Tech, Dominion Tank Police did very well in introducing a mecha heavy environment and showing that the BESM mecha rules were more than adequte for covering mecha type anime. THe book was also a great resource book for the series including detailed character information and history.
