ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN

After achieving lasting fame as Count Dracula in 1931, Bela Lugosi had to wait 17 years to repeat the role. After Universal exhausted the possibilities of multimonster epics they decided to pit their three most popular creatures against a comedy team. The results aren't bad at all. Glenn Strange (Later seen as the bartender on Gunsmoke) played the Karloff clone monster for the third time.

Lon Chaney, Jnr., played Larry Talbot the Wolfman for the fifth time. Lugosi was working for his old studio for the first time in years but soon returned to cheap quickies. Lenore Aubert wants Costello's brain for the monster. The Wolfman wants to be cured. Dracula turns into a cartoon bat. Vincent Price is heard briefly as the Invisible Man.
