EPISODE "ANGELS OF DEATH"
Senior civil servants MPs and intelligence personnel are all dying suddenly of "Natural Causes". The only link between all four dozen of them is their visit to a health farm shortly before their death. When Steed's colleague Colonel Tomson succumbs too, the Avenger decides it is time to investigate, and checks himself in at the health farm. Behind the scenes, the establishment is run by the Angels of Death, attractive women who brainwash agents into revealing their secrets before sending them mad. Steed finds himself in the interrogation maze, a psychological tool in the battle for information, and Purdey also falls into their clutches. Can Gambit save the day.
