HELP!!! I'm sorry for the lack of attention this site needs! Here are a few notes: 1) the host has a new policy not to play .mpgs and won't give out some files. That's why some of the links don't work. If you'd like any file at all, please contact me and I will send them to you via email. 2) It looks like I may be out of racing for now. There just isn't enough local interest to keep my motivation going. If someone would like to take over the site, they are welcome. Please contact me to discuss your interest. Friday, January 05, 2001

2000 Team USA F5D Planes Available!!! I just got some hot news in from Archie Adamisin. He's gong to be selling kits (ARF's really) of his famous Y2K F5D super fast pylon racer. This plane is designed around the Astro brushless 05 (or any other 1" dia. motor), and 10x1250 cells. Go to the F5D section to find out more, and see what it looks like. Friday, November 17, 2000
I just found a "must go" link to the E-Zone's discussion page of Pylon. Lots of great info. Check it out at: E-Zone Pylon Discussion Group.

I just got some information from a Racing friend of mine, Louis Dionne. He's trying his heart out to really get things going in Electric Pylon Racing. Louis is in the process of putting together a Racing Circuit in the North East (Canada and US). Please check out his web site for more detailed information. http://www3.sympatico.ca/dionnel/rc/e_racing.htm If "YOU" have any contests containing Electric Pylon Racing, please let me know about them so I can post the news here! INDOOR RC PYLON RACING I just read the Model Airplane News article on Indoor Pylon Racing. Very cool stuff. Something I will have to look into! The models look like Golden Age Racers, weight around 7 oz., draw about 2 amps and fly 15mph. Foam pylons are used. If you have any information for me to post on this page, please let me know. I'd be happy to create a new section/page just for Indoor Pylon Racing. |
