First off I'm going to rant at FortuneCitiy for sticking that bloody banner at the top of the page. It's not the fact that it's an advert or that it spoils the page, what annoys me is that it has ruined our search engine placements. This site was optimised to score pretty good on most search engines until that banner, hence the fact that the hit counter has all but stopped.

To get the best use from wallpapers that you download from here you should save them into your windows directory (c:\windows\) as bitmaps (bmp). This will make it so that when you open your desktop properties window the wallpaper archive files will be displayed with your other wallpapers.

Alternatively you could just right click one of the full size images in this site and select set as background.
