Abhishek's Films Abhishek Bachchan bore a heavy cross when he stepped into the highly competitive world of Hindi films. He is the son of Amitabh Bachchan, the greatest living icon of the big screen. There was immense pressure on the son to live up to the reputation of his father. Alas, his first two films completely failed to live up to the high expectations that had been placed on the young mans shoulders. His debut film, ' Refugee' , ran well initially, perhaps drawing curious crowds keen to see the son of the famous father. But his second film, 'Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya' , sank without a trace. His third film, 'Dhai Akshar Prem Ke' , was released soon after. Unfortunately, the first two days were not encouraging. Abhishek, however, is determined to succeed. The junior Bachchan explains the reasons for the failures and his prognosis for the future. He remains confident. After all, Amitabh Bachchan had a series of flops before he hit mega stardom.
