North Ayrshire
A former mining hamlet which lies at the head of a narrow tract of North Ayrshire extending northeastwards into East Ayrshire, Cunninghamhead is located 2 miles (3 km) west of Kilmaurs and a similar distance northeast of Perceton. The Annick Water flows just to the north of the settlement.
