In April 1961, I arrived at RAF Mildenhall after an 18 hour flight in a MATS C-118. I remember looking out the Snack Bar window and seeing the beautiful green countryside. I spent 4 years and 14 days at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge. While there I married a wonderful Ipswich girl and our son was born at the RAF Bentwaters hospital (Rendlesham) exactly one year, to the day, after our marriage. I worked in Air Base Sq, Civil Engineer Sq, Fire Dept and Personal Affairs. I met many fine people during my tour there. I must say that all was not roses, but overall it was very enjoyable. I finally left there in April 1965. My experiances there have made a big impact on my life.

Have You Heard. There was a UFO Incident at RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge in 1980. Seems to be a lot of interest in the 'Rendlesham Incident' and 'Left At East Gate' with it being on the Tele, Magazines and Books. Col Halt? Underground Bunkers? Lights in the Forest?
