On his way to the Spring Festival, Spike sees a package next to a tree. He looks at it and wonders why somebody left a package out in the middle of nowhere. He knows no animals live near that tree.

Spike sees that the package it is addressed to "The Baby Ponies", so he picks it up and carries it to the festival.

As he picks it up, the wrapping starts to wriggle and come off. He sees that inside is a mirror, so he looks at it. As he tries to put the wrapping back on, something grabs him and pulls him into the mirror. Looking out of the mirror, he watches as someone puts the wrapping back on.

Spike feels the mirror being picked up. He feels himself tumbling and falling further into the mirror as it is carried further down the road.

On the road, whoever or whatever is carrying the mirror starts talking to somebody. Spike recognizes the voice....it sounds like his own, but there is something different.

He is thinking, "How can I be out there if I am in here?"

He hears another voice and it sounds like his friend, Sweet Pop. A third familiar voice sounds like one of the bushwoolies.

Sweet Pop carries the mirror the rest of the way, thinking she is walking with her friend, Spike.

When they bring the package to the nursery, the baby ponies start to open it. It is then that Spike looks out of the mirror....and sees himself!

Spike begins to bang on the glass, but no one seems to hear him. His evil twin stands in front of him so everyone thinks he is only a reflection.

He sees Baby Firefly near the mirror and starts to call, "Baby Firefly! Help me get out of here!"

"What are you doing in there? How can you be in there when you are out here? I'm confused", says Baby Firefly.

Baby Firefly notices something a little different about the Spike by her, and starts to go get her mother. As she starts to go for her mother, she is pushed into the mirror. She asks Spike, "What happened? Where are we?"

Spike figured the mirror must have come from the witches from the Volcano of Gloom. He explains all this to Baby Firefly. Just as he finishes explaining, Baby Ribbon and Baby Moondance are pushed into the mirror.

They are trying to find a way out of the mirror. They bang and yell for help.

Baby Lofty and Baby Heartthrob try to find an opening in the mirror to help their friends get out.

Baby Heartthrob finds a key hidden on the side of the mirror. Baby Lofty looks and finds a keyhole. Just as they start to turn the key, they are also pushed into the mirror.

Fizzy, Galaxy, and Sweet Pop begin to notice some of the babies are missing. They go to the nursery to ask (the so called) Spike where the babies are.

The pretend Spike says, "I think they went off to play."

Fizzy and Sweet Pop go out to look for the babies. Galaxy stays in the nursery to help "Spike" with the other babies since it is time to put them down for a nap.

Fizzy decides to go back to the nursery to see if the babies have returned. As she opens the door and steps inside, she sees "Spike" push Galaxy into the mirror.

Using her unicorn magic, Fizzy makes a bubble around "Spike" to hold him. Then she runs to get Sweet Pop.

When they get back, some of the babies are playing volleyball with the "Spike in a bubble". This Spike is so angry, he has turned bright red, not the usual soft purple of their friend.

They all hear tapping and yelling from the mirror, and look to see Galaxy and the missing baby ponies trapped inside, along with the real Spike.

Fizzy notices the key in the mirror's lock and turns it. A glass door swings open, and all their friends tumble out.

The babies hit the "Spike in the bubble" through the glass door. Fizzy slams the door shut and turns the key.

The real Spike pretends he is the evil one and takes the mirror back to the witches.

He says, "Everyone is trapped inside."

As the witches look into the mirror, Galaxy, Fizzy, and Sweet Pop push them in!

Then all the friends go back to Dream Valley and enjoy the Spring Festival.
