"So goes January, so goes the year…. Have you heard this one before? We generally don’t believe in these types of things - just because the market was up on the third Thursday of the third month of the third moon of Venus, doesn’t make us think it will happen again this year. But the January Barometer is something else! It may be the closest thing to a ``Sure Thing'' on Wall Street that there is. The market could be in for another up year, because January 1999 ended with gains. Apparently there have been only three errors in 48 years, gird up your loins and prepare for the 4th year in a row of super gains" according to The Bull Market Report.

Our two indices have beaten the market averages hands-down. It was the Brazilian market index which came quite close to us.
