Rank 1: The Way of the Falcon - The Falcon is a keen observer, gliding on the winds. When making
a Perception roll the bushi may re-roll any dice less than his Perception trait. The bushi also adds
his Air Ring to his TN to be hit.
Rank 2: Gekido's Example - At this level the Falcon is completely devoted to the service of his
lord. When making a test of Honor the bushi rolls his Honor Rank + School Rank keeping Honor. This
ability is lost during any period that the Falcon is a ronin.
Rank 3: Falcon's Wing - The Falcon now masters the Falcon's Wing Cut. He may make one attack
roll but hit two opponents. The roll is compared against each opponent's TN to be hit. Damage is
rolled separately for each opponent. Both targets must be close enough to the bushi to be attacked but
need not be near each other. The Falcon Wing Cut may be performed as a Standard Attack or a Full Attack.
Rank 4: Strike from Heaven - The Falcon circles, choosing when to strike with deadly force. Before
Initiative is rolled the bushi may delcare a Strike from Heaven. He rolls Initiative and declares his
attack as normal, but always acts last in the round and adds his Initiative roll to this attack roll.
Rank 5: Wisdom the Wind Brings - At this rank the bushi's close connection with the element of
Air gives him a strong sense of what the next moment will bring. On any given skill roll the bushi may
roll up to his Air Ring in dice before deciding how many Raises to make. If the bushi's Air Ring is
greater than or equal to the number of dice to be rolled, roll them all before declaring Raises.
Penalities from wounds affect the number of dice that may be rolled prior to declaring Raises.
Outfit: Bushi - (All items considered to be of Average quality) Katana, Wakizashi, Travelling Pack,
Kimono, any 2 weapons, 3 koku.
