Kamishimo

When not in the heat of the battle a Samurai would wear a Kamishimo. In this hemp dress the samurai would often act as a police man would.
Notice the patern design on the right which is rather different from the plain kamishimo on the left.

Notice also the hairstlye as the fad at that period involved shaving the front of his head. A samurai with a single hair out of place was a disgrace.

Also used frequently by the samurai was the kimono, which would suffice him if he were to enjoy himself on a summers evening.
