Starting a web site

  • The most important thing is to plan what you want to say.

  • Then we organised this information into categories and these became our links on our navigation bar.

  • The next step was to plan our colour scheme. We chose blue  because it is our school colour and we live by a lake.

  • We then designed our tables and we decided for our homework page to have a whole lot of links to help people with research.

  • We now needed information. This was the hardest step as people didn't always give us the information when we needed it and this caused delays.

Things we have learnt...

  • How to use AOL press which is a wysiwyg .

  • We also learnt a little HTML which is a code that web pages are made from.

  • We learnt how to use a digital camera and make wise shots that would look good on the web

  • We became good researchers and investigators sifting through information and making decisions on what was important and what wasn't.
