What if....
Just to see how things will fit together proportionately, I placed some locos and cars on the trackplan. Just to see how it fits together. The quality of the photos leave a little to be desired, but you can get the idea of what I'm trying to accomplish.

Here you see a distant photo of both the Johnsonburg Terminal Rwy. yard and the Allegheny RR yard in Johnsonburg. Now, if I just had some flextrack....

I guess that paint shop better get busy. Here we have 301 and 302 switching Johnsonburg Yard with the JTRwy. switcher drilling cars in the background. The mill will be located around the corner to the right of the photo.

I had to climb a rock outcropping to get this one. The JTRwy. switcher is busy shuffling cars in the plant yard.

Another case of mistaken identity...these will soon be Allegheny SD45's. Here, they're leading a northbound coal train past the CSX interchange through Johnsonburg. They're easing to a stop to pick up a pair of helpers for the assault on the grade to Kane.

Okay, I had to put everything back in their boxes so I could get some real work done. It was nice getting a three dimensional image of what things might look like. I had some early concerns on the capacity of the yards, but after this little exercise, I'm comfortable with the configuration.
