THE INLAWS

This is my inlaws. Joe was born and raised in Polk County Tennessee. As a young man, he moved to Chicago to work in the steel mills where he raised a son and two daughters. Refering back to the old saying, "You can take the country boy out of the country, but...", he moved back to Tennessee. Now they live in a neighboring county called Bradley, next to the Ocoee river. He is one of the best people that you could ever meet on this earth. He never meets a stranger and is always in the best of spirits when I come to visit. Bet a lot of guys would love to have inlaws like I do. Being the people person that he is, he is a great father and grandfather. He has this twinkle in his eyes like Santa Claus when the kids are in his presents. I wish that I could spend more time with him but we live several miles apart. Maybe, when he retires, he can find that place that he's considering buying closer to us.

My mother-in-law's name is Sybil. Growing up in a poor family in Alabama, she has work values that are uncomparable. She works two jobs in hospitals and still manages to find time to spend with family and take vacations. She's the same type of person as Joe when it comes to being a family person. She pours every free moment into her grandchildren and loves them more than life it's self. She's the reason that they are considering moving closer to us. I'd like having such a loving pair of in-laws close by to spend time with. As with Joe, maybe after she retires from the hospital, they can move here nearby. I'm fortunate to have such a family that treats me like their own son. God Bless them.
