QUEENSRYCHE
Queensryche has been called in the past, "the thinking mans band". I never really got into Queensryche until Empire came out. This album was one special peice of work. From begining to end, I was on the edge of my seat when I listened to it the first time. I'm still on the edge every time I hear it now. Like most Queensryche albums, Empire is a concept album similar to Pink Floyd. The only difference is that Queensryche doesn't end up in left field.
Geoff Tate is, by far, one of the best vocalists that ever lived. No one can match the versatility of his voice but still maintain that much power. Even with the lack of the band's recognition, he is still renowned as one of the most powerful voices in the music industry.
