Beyond the specs:
A true Italian masterpiece this car offers you light steering, excellent high-speed stability, and an amazing high revving V12, which gets an amazing 174+hp per liter (for the SS). As you can imagine, the result is a car that influences spirited driving (very spirited). While the quad turbos have a bit of lag the torque comes at a very low 3,750rpm even though its horse power comes at a very high 8,000rpm just 200rpm below the redline. This is the only explanation of how a car with 6.5 lbs./hp can challenge a Jaguar XJ220 with a much lighter 6 lbs./hp. Combining this performance with its relatively low price tag, (the Mclaren F1 cost a lot more) this car is a great deal, especially since unlike its competitors it comes with 4 wheel drive and the interior was not stripped bare. Its 4 wheel drive system deliver 27% of the power to the front wheels allowing enough grip to prevent wheel spin under hard acceleration off the line (0-30mph). So if you want a car with a torquey high revving V12, a good interior, and fine handling at a bargain price then here is you car.
