Beyond the specs:
The continuation of Ferrari's Fx series which all started with the Ferrari F40 when Ferrari tried to make a street legal racecar. Now comes along the F50, with Ferrari build quality and the amazing performance to go with it. Though it does not quite beat its competitors (like the Bugatti, which cost less), more F50s were produced (300+ vehicles) than the its competitors and it cost less than most of its competitors (Mclaren F1 and Jaguar XJ220). It also was backed by Ferrari's history of producing high quality very high performance cars. This Ferrari has a lateral acceleration unmatched by all but the highest from any production car ever tested! This car is about as close to a Formula One car as Ferrari could produce at the time and the result is a car that lives up to the status of "The Ultimate Ferrari". With looks that can get attention in any kind of crowd (like a row of Bentleys or Porsche Turbos), this car is obviously not for everyone. So if you want Ferrari engineering, amazing performance, and looks that stun any kind of traffic then you better start searching for F50 owners willing to sell because they're all sold out. I just can not wait for the upcoming F60 to come out! (Do not expect it too come soon)
