Beyond the specs:

This very odd car is the first and last road car produced by Yamaha it was designed to be a lightweight. This car uses a detuned version of their Formula 1 racing V12, but with a 10,000rpm redline they obviously did not change the design much. Because of this very high redline its engine has a very high 128.6hp per liter which is excellent for a naturally aspirated (no turbo or super charger) engine. This car was unfortunately sold at a very high price during a time of economic recession and the Yamaha failed to sell any. To bad because of this fact, very little info is available on this car and the Yamaha is not likely to make another road car. Still, with its 450hp V12 on its very light chassis it was probably very fast and I am sure it had quite a good handling too.
