The main characters
Fly | He's the protagonist of the story.
He was adopted by Burasu, a monster sage. He's not gifted for magic
but his grandpa, that is Burasu, wants him to become a mage.
He has also a very mysterious power: when the dragon sign appears on
his forehead he becomes very strong and is able to use any possible magic.
|
|
Poppu | Fly's best friend. He's an apprentice mage
and a disciple of master Aban. Already from the beginning of the story he was
able to use very powerfull magic such as Merazoma and Hyadaruko, but he was
a coward and fled away at the first sign of danger. But in the course of
the story, he becomes stronger and more courageous. At the end it
becomes clear that in fact he's the most courageous disciple.
| |
Gome
| Its real name is Golden Metal Slime. But as Fly had
difficulties to pronounce the name, he baptized it Gome. It is a
little monster in the form af a drop with wings. It is very shy,
but it was the first monster to become Fly's friend. It has strange
magical powers, but Gome is not really aware of them. For example
Gome is protected from the malefice of the king of darkness.
| |
Burasu
| Monster sage that has grown up Fly. He can use some attack
and healing spells. | |
Aban | He's the hero who defeated
Hadora fifteen years before the beginning of our story. But now
he's a tutor. When he arrives on Demurin he's accompanied by Poppu,
his disciple. He knows a lot of incredible spells like Mahokatoru
and Doragoramu. He has also invented three sword techniques plus
the combination of the three: Aban slash. He dies in the battle
against the resurrected Hadora...but maybe...
Hadora | Former
king of darkness, he's now the commander of the armies of Ban, god
of darkness. He defeated Aban on Demurin, but could not get rid of
Fly. He sent his armies after Fly.
Leona |
Princess of Papunika. She soon became head of state because her
father died in a battle against the armies of Ban. She is very
conscious of here role and has a great charisma. But she's also
very blunt and direct. She's Fly's first friend (except the
inhabitants of Demurin, of course). She gave him a glaive,
symbolising the sun. (There are three symbols of Papunika, the sun,
the wind and the sea, each of them is represented by a glaive)
| |
Fuam | Daughter of Leila and Roka,
two friends of master Aban who faught with him against Hadora.
Fuam's father, Roka, died (???) when she was about five years old
(I think, maybe she was younger) , and so she lives with her mother
Leila in the little village of Neiru on Rainriba. She's a disciple
of Aban. She has a magic gun and a spear at the beginning of the
story as equipment. | |
Krokodin | He's the leader of the
army of beasts of Ban. He has an enormous strength. His weapon is
an axe that can invoke Bagi. His headquarter is situated on the
continent of Rainriba in the haunted forrest. He's the first enemy
of Fly. But he soon becomes one of Fly's most reliable allies.
| |
Hyunkel
| Leader of the army of immortals. Although he's the leader
of one of the most terrific armies of Ban, he's a human, and was
once a disciple of Aban. But this latter only to kill Aban, because
he suspected Aban to be the murderer of his father, Brutus. He
received an armor from Ban that protects him from every
incantation. He later becomes Fly's ally.
Derorin | This guy pretends to be a
hero but is just a coward and jerk. With his troop he tried to
kidnap Gome. Later he makes efforts to become a real defender of
justice, but not without difficulties... | No image |
Mazopho | The magician in Derorin's
troop. Although a coward, he helped Poppu to overcome his fears and
help his friends in their battle against Krokodin. | No
image |
Zurubon | The only girl
in Derorin's troop. She's the smartest. She wears the clothes of a
healer, but I'm not sure she practices very well... | No
image |
Hero Hero | The knight in
Derorin's troop. Nothing but brute force. He's as dumb as my
ass... | No image |
King Shinana
| He reigns over Romusu. He's married and has children but we
never see them in the manga nor in the anime. He was first misled
by Derorin, but later realized Fly was the true hero and offered
him the Crown of the Heros. He's very good-hearted. But
unfortunately not of a great help to Fly and his friends, because
Romusu's military power is very weak. | No image |
